I blame the ultra stupid japanese idol culture. One of the most stupid things in this world
It’s a shame you can’t pin specific comments to the top of a thread, because this is the one that needs to be seen by everyone. Idol fan culture can be unbelievably toxic — all the worst parts of inceldom, complete lack of boundaries, and parasocial entitlement all rolled into one. Absolute cancer.I blame the ultra stupid japanese idol culture. One of the most stupid things in this world
He's an asshole. The direction they seem to be going with is that if even he's a prick, he was fully committed to his work while Fumi wasn't. And that makes Fumi selfish. It sucks, as it's an excuse. No matter what Fumi may or may not have done, the director was an abuser. "I thought you had balls". Nah, eat shit. He tacitly admitted that he didn't even see Fumi as a human, but a cog to make the machine work. Fucking hypocrite. No payoff with regard to that cunt of a director is going to make my blood pressure spike. Fuck that guy. I know it's not that kind of manga but mannnnnn...
If Akari comes back into the story, ya already know shes gonna forgive him and inspire him to "save" Ayano. Its predictably horrible lolI didn’t say he was grooming her, I said grooming her was the only option he had left cuz this dumbass, pathetic bastard let go the perfect girl. I don’t wish to see him end with ayano, he deserves to end up all alone. I hope Akari found a good guy on her own and won’t come back to him in the present, like I’m available so why not me ?![]()
A man who is not taking the bait would not be holding a leaf she randomly showered him with as his greatest treasure.Ayano is trying to groom him by doing heavily suggestive actions. He's just not taking the bait.
I agree with him being a lil bish, my comment was about Akari expecting him to go there and save her, when that would just have backfired with all the media outside her house. He should have said that tho, instead of stuttering until she hung up on him. You're thinking only of the outcome and not the lingering issue that plagued their entire "relationship". Fumi never wanted to commit or see Akari for who she was. He placed walls and barriers around them right until the very end.
Now that is fine. What's not fine is that he chose to do things half-assed. He'd still see Akari. He'd still see her dad, because being with them actually made him happy, yet would still reject them if things got uncomfortable. It is entirely a matter of communication and ignoring the real feelings of the people he's associating with because of his own fragile self-esteem.
It's a bad look no matter how you slice it. Akari cannot be blamed one bit for her choice. The real issue in the present is that he is repeating the same mistakes. Shiraki, who was completely outside the Akari matter, calls Fumi out on his indecision so the narrative is clearly framing Fumi as the "problem" here. Ayano is similarly confused because she doesn't know where she and Fumi stands, as he has yet to make that clear (this isn't totally his fault, mind you. Ayano is nuts). Bro needs to decide what he wants and to go for it.
You're either being incredibly deceitful or willfully ignorant by suggesting that Fumi is grooming Ayano.Yeah, I don’t get this mc, did he love Akari or not ? He never was honest with her nor himself. He did nothing, things just happened to him and he went with it, and kept avoiding getting involved with Akari, cuz she’s an idol. Even though she said she wasn’t serious about it, just doing it for her dad and all, but nah he did nothing. So she got fed up and left him, the photo get leaked, she calls him, he avoids her call to « protect her », but in the end it’s just to protect himself, he does nothing, just going with the flow and hiding himself like always.
And now he has a new jobs, a 13yd girl is in love with him, he had the perfect woman but nah he let her go, now the only option he has is grooming a 13yd. Shinzo Abe is dead because of dudes like him. Useless bastard
Thanks for the translation
Oh yeah I agree there. In the end, she wasn't totally honest either.I agree with him being a lil bish, my comment was about Akari expecting him to go there and save her, when that would just have backfired with all the media outside her house. He should have said that tho, instead of stuttering until she hung up on him.
Can't work, unless you're in a happy go lucky manga where an ass plan out of thin air work because armor plot.Maybe I've forgotten something, but couldn't they easily state that she was on her way to a gig with her agent? She's one who would still very much require a disguise to go from one place to another for work and he was her agent. Unless there's some detail I'm forgetting, I feel like this this could've handled much more smoothly than it did.
supportive family
competent at his job
charming enough to bag idols
still fumble.
