I... I may need to re-read chapters.... @,@

But this is my first time seeing a cruddy "heroine" actually admit that she doesn't want to see the "villainess" be happy - so for that alone she scores higher than most in my book.

Still going down though for thinking she's better or that she deserves happiness just because she experienced hardship and can take whatever she wants now. >:]
you should read the one within the villainess and 24 hour to break my death flags.
those manga has a really evil heroine

That girl gets a A+ in stupid. She is so fixated on what happened in a scripted game world that doesn't realize that the hero and villain roles have reversed. She's becoming the villain by being a total Bitch.

Welcome to the big ol' world of the Otome GTB. They don't think of the people as people, they think the world remains a game, much like players in VRMMO novels who are outright told that the NPCs are people, but treat them as "NPCs" (The dehumanised sense), and it blinkers their thinking pretty damn hard.

Sometimes it's pointed out to them before the end... But it's very, very rare that they actually listen. And like many antagonists in these stories, they refuse to take responsibility and blame others when things go wrong for them personally.

The worst ones, funnily enough, are the ones who are not only like this, but actually smart.

Usually I bemoan that happening, since there's no particular reason. A bitch just happens to end up in the body of the heroine. I always enjoy the exceptions (24HR RTA and The One Within the Villainess both give proper reasons).

In this case, there's a good reason why it happens (which has been hinted at briefly): the deliberate manipulations of the reincarnator who took the heroine in when she was living on the streets.
