I... I may need to re-read chapters.... @,@

But this is my first time seeing a cruddy "heroine" actually admit that she doesn't want to see the "villainess" be happy - so for that alone she scores higher than most in my book.

Still going down though for thinking she's better or that she deserves happiness just because she experienced hardship and can take whatever she wants now. >:]
you should read the one within the villainess and 24 hour to break my death flags.
those manga has a really evil heroine

That girl gets a A+ in stupid. She is so fixated on what happened in a scripted game world that doesn't realize that the hero and villain roles have reversed. She's becoming the villain by being a total Bitch.

Welcome to the big ol' world of the Otome GTB. They don't think of the people as people, they think the world remains a game, much like players in VRMMO novels who are outright told that the NPCs are people, but treat them as "NPCs" (The dehumanised sense), and it blinkers their thinking pretty damn hard.

Sometimes it's pointed out to them before the end... But it's very, very rare that they actually listen. And like many antagonists in these stories, they refuse to take responsibility and blame others when things go wrong for them personally.

The worst ones, funnily enough, are the ones who are not only like this, but actually smart.

Usually I bemoan that happening, since there's no particular reason. A bitch just happens to end up in the body of the heroine. I always enjoy the exceptions (24HR RTA and The One Within the Villainess both give proper reasons).

In this case, there's a good reason why it happens (which has been hinted at briefly): the deliberate manipulations of the reincarnator who took the heroine in when she was living on the streets.

I've met a few heroines like that. Though they didn't start off like that. It's normally when they realize that the mc hasn't done anything wrong. Like this heroine. Though unlike this one they didn't just try to push the whole story because the villainess didn't do what they were supposed to do. The others would just try to fit the scenario or make a trap. They didn't destroy a nation.

Yeah, but if she does see everything as a game and everyone as NPC! Then in her mind, "the nation being destroyed" was "just part of the story" so they were "destined to die" (like the "Village A wants to save the Villainess" where the "Heroine" justifies the horrors the Villainess was put through by her POS Fiancee, specifically "gangrape" because "she's the villainess)

I think I saw one where the FMC was another reincarnate orphan who was reincarnated in the same orphanage as the Heroine who was ALSO reincarnated and was in the process of "developing her plans" even told her about it, seeing the flaws, she was able to convince her not to go through it, even CITING these Otome Reincarnation stories where "it never ends well for them" (THEIR "Serves you right" as she told her) this has the effect of making the girl "Give up" on her plans and becoming a "Good girl" (especially since she viewed the FMC as a "Big sister figure" and fate later has them reunite after she's adopted into a Noble Family, even better the "ML" is her adopted older brother in that family. Last read it on Mangapark a year ago, and forgot the name as that site "and my Bookmarks" DISAPPEARED into the Ether, it DID finish up a month before the site! The FMC is a Cook) FMC did note she was just naive! Not enough an excuse to justify what she was GOING to do, but since it was nipped there! The "Heroine" surprisingly BECOMES a Heroine because of it! Helps since they are fellow Japanese reincarnates, and she is older as she was starting her cooking business before her death, while the Heroine was a High School Student, THAT is what I meant by her seeing her as an OLDER SISTER despite the fact their reincarnations are the same age!

This 'heroine’s' brain is rotted why would you want the villain to diddle/seduce the characters you like
