It's technically a false trope; as in, it seems like a trope, but it's more because of some other trope instead.
For instance, in a harem or love triangle, the main girl wins. If the childhood friend loses, it's because she's not the main girl, it has very little to do with her being a childhood friend.
So it's a false trope because being a childhood friend didn't actually matter to her winning or losing. She'd have lost even if she wasn't a childhood friend.....
Almost every story is wish fulfillment... all of them. And in this case... the girl was someone he was close to for years. In fact, them being apart was a recent thing for them...
I honestly hope that this story will not drag out their romance or force too much drama...
I also hope they don't put the cart in front of the horse. She chose to be an idol to be with him... hope he won't do something stupid like try to separate from her to protect her career or something stupid like that.
not exactly... The MC is a very talented and very competent person too, and he don't have the mob looks.
If you read some other chapters you will get that part.
I hope this focuses on Kazuki and his loss of desire to play piano, because I can relate to that HARD. I tried studying music at university and dropped out after it nearly made me want to give up on playing my instrument.
