I practically forgot what was the reason why she rejected him, but reading through the WN raws... this is one messed up story, and its been on hiatus, maybe because it got turned into a LN, so not sure how the story goes after a while

Neither the WN and LN are translated completely, the WN got translated up to chapter 25 out of 52 but was discontinued by the author, and the LN just recently is being translated and started Chapter 2 of Volume 1 which is around this point in the manga, LN is completed with 3 Volumes

Though there is alot of differences between WN and LN, because author revised it completely before publishing it as a book according to the afterword in Volume 1
