They only conduct the treatment/indoctrine due to no threat infiltrating the space ship. If there is I am sure the A.I will choose different Law script.

First Impressions:
It's totally unreal that the MC being forced by the android to take that captain training while the ship was literally falling apart.

That android girl could have come along. He's still gonna be the sole survivor anyways. Unless they gonna make this into yet another harem story. Well maybe she got into another pod or somehow "survived" the crash just like that one air hostess who did just that from 25k feet. Go Google it. 😛

@WhiskeyWolf totally agree with yas.

Only 200k people...?

Tokyo alone, with the largest city population... has 37.3 million and they have a far more advanced technology.

I hope best girl AI Ship-chan's fragments are found again and repaired.

Edit : I'm stupid, it's a colonial planet. Damn the Europeans at it again, off to extraterrestrial spices.

It’s awful with terrible writing right out of the gate. Wonderful.

“…found edible things like plants and potatoes.”

1000 year long war and nobody thought about putting together a warfleet instead of sending a single cruiser?

"Without no hope"

Well it's good that they still had hope.

I'm also curious about: "200000 people mostly men, women and child". Don't men, women, and children make up the entirety of "people"?
Androids?
Alien life forms?
Brains in a tank?

Does them fit as people tho?

Great, technically isekai, my favourite

The ship would not be pulled by the planet gravity from so far away, at least not at that speed! It means the ship was heading towards the planet! And the chance of encountering another celestial body in the vastness of space is astronomically small! Also getting attacked while in hyper-drive? If it wasn't premeditated I would be disappointed! Sabotage is my guess!
About the farming colony having 200k inhabitants its nothing strange, a planet can be the size of our moon for everything we(don't)know! Communities taking care of millions of hectares with machines, and robots supplying other colonies (mining, farming, etc) and Earth with products! Maybe we terraformed other planets in the solar system and we're living on sustainable ecosystems? We can always hope, no?

i dont understand how sci fi messes scale up so badly. like 200k people dying during an entire planetary invasion???? stalingrad resulted in millions of deaths and that was just a single city... like our wars with even less advanced weapons killed more people... the 30 years war killed millions and that largely only took place in germany and we only had early muskets and pikes still... wh40k is one of the only scifi universes ive seen get scale right. like look at how much we can produce as single nations, a group of planets should be fielding armies in the billions and have hundreds of thousands of ships
you realize modern wars don't have that much casualties?
like how many deaths have american servicemen experienced in vietnam or afghanistan? literally less than the amount that died here.
and its not unusually to have wide empires without much people on each planet etc
