To be honest I am a little disappointed that she will regrow her leg and arm, yeah I know I am a bad person, it negates some of the stakes and emotions. Also it would be refreshing to have not 100% perfect companion.

Well he is from an advanced civilization, parasites are the least of his problems.

Out of imperfections, i would have preferred if they went the cyborg route.

It creates a contrast between the medieval fantasy and the sci-fi.

Plus it keeps her being cripple while not at the same time.
