It's always a fun moment to see when a manga goes beyond it's source material. There's a high chance things go off the rails for good or bad. This chapter already feels like it's bit more fast paced with things "just happening". Passing the robots as golems seems like a good move.

Probably the most fun chapter of this I've read so far in a long while. There wasn't enough sci-fi to go around after he left on an adventure with Cleria. Now we're going full steam ahead with scientific progress and development. Welcome to a new age, ladies and gentlemen of Aless. Time to leave the medieval ages behind.

I sure hope AI Iris didn't make a new clone to use as her vessel... a mechanical body would be better, since it wouldn't have had a will of its own would be snuffed out if it was a clone body, once AI Iris transfers her will into it.

So based off comments it appears that this is where the story goes beyond the source material. This explains the acceleration of the plot beyond the previously slower-paced palace intrigues arc.
