I don't know if it's normal for (adult) doll otakus, but I thought it was normal for children to name their dolls. I remember naming a few teddy bears of my own when I was younger. Of course, girls tend to mature faster than boys, sometimes to concerning degrees, usually by copying what they see from adults.

Or gains a skill “DICK MASTER” which gives him an überdick which he uses to fuck every woman within a five mile radius of him. Not even getting into the sheer number of “slow life” isekai stories.
