It's not a disservice to remove items that the person in question no longer lives. The memories or even a simple tricket is more than enough out of respect. Same with a tool or something that dead person used that you now use is a great act. Lets say a hammer. That hammer is used daily. It's not being placed on a shelf.

Maybe I'm a bit off but the idea still stands

@Xxjuggernaut

In a way, i feel that it's similar to a gift. Sure, the gifted item is yours and you can do with it whatever you want, but surely the person that gift it to you wishes for it to be used properly and want it to be useful to you.

The opposite feeling is also true, It is similar to selling a gifted item. Sure, its yours, you can do whatever you want, but if you sell an item that someone carefully pick for you, isn't it like.... kinda rude? Or at the very least, really inconsiderate?

@musicfreak12 yeah. Keep the memory alive by using said item. Shelving it can mean the memory fades.

This was a great life lesson Niko the co owner of Corridor Digital says about his uncles bow. He uses it to keep his momeory of his uncle alive.

If that person is/was important to you, use it.

That's one item versus her being some sorta living ghost stuck inside a haunted apartment. If she truly was able to live her own life a healthier way would be for her to keep something of the original's stuff, then get her own. Or move out, and like keep the desk.

She's trapped, unable to be her real self, because she wants to live up to the expectations of the original her.

Mmmm.... simple theory. The original died, and the guy in a fit of pain order a clone and he regrets it....? And the half completed clone now is a bit of an issue?

I love the visuals in this manga so much. The shadow-Kujirai symbolizing Kudou's memories gets me every time.
I also love Generic Terra just always being visible in the sky. It seems like no matter where you are in Kowloon, if you can see the sky, Generic Terra is always there, you can't escape it.

By the way, if Kudou is also a double, then his memories of the old Kujirai are not his either! So he's holding on to a grief that isn't actually his! He might have more in common with the current Kujirai than he thinks.

The way this series plays with personal identity is great.

Am I the only one to think this Kowloon Generic Romance should have stayed more...... generic?
I think we are going to go through a shitton of unnecessary drama.
