MC is a loser. He's clearly the more experienced and battle hardened warrior, and on top of that he's a former roaming mercenary, older, and by far the superior physical specimen to everyone else, but he acts like the typical Japanese isekai dweeb who can barely speak up and set these preteen looking newbs straight. Instead he raises a few questions, mostly to himself and the priestess who's immediately attached to his hip, and then he shuts down immediately when some dumb tween biatch who 0 experience yells at him. Why is a lifelong, roaming mercenary acting like an anti-social Japanese nerd MC? We see him partying up with other mercs, he should be a roughneck kind of savage person. He should be going around backhanding bitches and punching pretty boy dweebs in the face when they get out of line but he acts like a mewling kitten and did nothing as they walked straight into an obvious trap, which he even knew was a trap. Even when the MC is supposed to be a hardened gun-for-hire Japanese writers seem to be incapable of writing anything other than a loser, it's really tiresome and totally betrayed my expectations from the cover and description.
