Yes. The LN swaps between them like in the anime, just more frequently. After Shiro and the gang start travelling together it’s only focused on them until they actually reach the same spot during the invasion where it ended. After that it starts to swap between them again.

The manga also skipped non-Shiro chapters like the meeting between Ariel and Guli or Ariel and Dustin or the entire Ronandt subplot with the Parallel Minds and Nightmare Vestiges.

the manga is also likely going to skip the Wrath chapters which IIRC were almost half of vol 8 and 9.

The manga skipped so much content that it felt much shorter than in the LN.

The LN finishes at volume at 16, this was the end of volume 7 so almost half way mark.

we got a whole volume about the hero, Shun’s brother, which didn’t really add anything. We also had quite a bit repeating content about the demon attack, another volume on that that barely added anything new. So I can see most of these volumes will be skipped in order to focus on Shiro and actually progress the story.

Julius's volume has a few purposes :
1. Link volume 10 to the beginning of the war (there are 10 years between)
2. Character's developpment (Julius, Hyrince and a 3rd character not revealed at that time)
3. A build up for the war.

The war volume developps what happens in the war that was barely mentionned in volume 3 and 4. And it also shows that White can lose.

13th volume is interesting in a few ways, but in case of the manga it's pretty much mandatory, since nothing from that period was shown.

Have you red the story? Like that was the whole reason why she was mad over her killing ''Mother''. It isn't a spoiler, it was already established since around the time she left the Elro Labyrinth.

Spoiler: Sophia's feelings on Shiraori

Sophia acquired the title Ruler of Envy, from being envious of Shiraori's beauty both in their previous and current lives. Ariel taught her to appreciate the good deeds Shiraori has done for her, causing Sophia to slowly grow attached to her. It goes beyond appreciation, to point that she gets confrontational or attacks others when Shiraori isn't around. Shiraori repeatively punishes Sophia, which turns into her a Masochist who sees punishment as getting attention!

Oof, this Chapter was rough. I really was holding out hope for an isekai that stays pure, but a Level Reset? That's a very bad sign in my book, like the creators painted themselves into a corner and don't know where to go from there. From here on out, I get the feeling things will get random.... Plz let me be wrong about stuff like this for once :'(
