I'm glad they popped the assassins, all this 4d chess to get the barrier broken seems pointless since Hentrietta is so weak. Why not just kill her and flee? The barrier would have broken immediately cause the Prince is a retard. I am blown away how stupid some of the writing is here.

Question for you. Is the only thing you know how to do is bitching and moaning? I’ve seen you in many many series making complaint after complaint about a series across multiple chapters for said series so why bother reading these series if all you’re gonna do is complain? Why continue reading series that you say have bad writing? Why not just drop the series and move into the next one? It’s kinda baffling why you’d read a series if it has “bad writing” in it.

I defo don't complain only, I also positively comment when it's good writing (Even when a bad series has that fluke moment of good writing) If I dropped all the series that had bad/tropey writing I'd barely be reading anything atm. Also most of the series I complain in I'm definitely not the only one complaining about bad writing lol

ive seen you in many many series complaining about issues (that sometime arent there and feels like you just forgot what happened in the series) but have yet to see you in a series where you say positive stuff. as for this series the writing is fine. its neither bad nor good, it's just average. if you want actual bad writing then read The Mister. This series is nowhere near as bad as that series so its a bit unfair to it to say the writing is bad.

I actually said in this one alone that I was glad they popped the assassins as a positive, what is bad writing here is the fact is they are willing to do everything to break the barrier but not kill the only one able to maintain it? Henrietta is weak so it'd be easily done then GTFO of the castle and meet with invading army.
Also again your ignoring the fact in almost every series where I'm complaining about the writing the other comments are also complaining about the same things. If my negative comments are bothering you that much just put me on ignore (I mean that with no sarcasm nor hostility I know some hate to see negativity all the time.) But I will always call out bad writing when I see it and yes sometimes I'll mix series up and be wrong and I'll own those but generally I hold my word.

Which is a smarter plan, killing her in the castle and blowing your cover or having her taken somewhere in a carriage and being able to blame her death on bandits?
Or you could just not make complaints that are easily negated by knowing what happened in the series

The level these guys have gone to get that barrier down and have failed (Kinda) so far questions again why not off her and GTFO heck get a different assassin to off her while keeping thier cover cause the Leader is a retard so wouldn't even notice anything off. These are logical assumptions to basic how to invade a country that you can't get into.
Your so set on my not complaining your logic argument fails. They NEED the barrier down with an army waiting to invade, so why not just kill her and run? What purpose it there to keep things behind the backs and make it look like an acident when your gonna invade and take over the country? Your logic makes no sense here, "After many attempts and time Oh the barrier master accidently died and look theres a invading army coming we be doomed" or just "Kills the barrier master immediately Runs away and joins said invasion force" which one would be optimal and desired? Yes they could play the long slow game but again for what purpose? at the end of the day their plan is to kill the people in charge and take over so why bother behind the scenes at this point?

Because if their invasion fails then they would be screwed as they now no longer have any position in the kingdom which, if they still had it, would have allowed them to try it again.
You never put all your eggs in one basket Hans. If they have her killed in the castle then even that dumbass is going to have the issue investigated and it could lead to the bad guy’s cover being blown. It is far smarter (and easier) to have her killed outside of the castle as 1. You can blame her death on bandits 2. You don’t have to worry about having the assassin get pass the security detail that is in the castle.
You play the slow game because a fast one would easily blow up in your face and risk you failing in your plans. As smart and capable bad guy goes for the long game as only an idiot would rush a job like the way you want them to rush it. In fact such a rush job would ironically be actual bad writing and you would be complaining about how much of an idiot the villain was for rushing to kill her and causing his invasion plan to fail because he didn’t properly plan out the situation and prepare for contingencies.
You would make for a third rate villain and, ironically, would be guilty of the bad writing that you accuse this series of having. Much like your complaints, about the series about the noble girl running the cafe that’s visited by beastmen, you are really bad at using logic.

As for they will be screwed how? Henrietta can't keep the shield running so even if they fail it still falls after some minor time. Did you forget that?
Also no it wouldnt be bad writing depending how they got to the point of offing Henrietta like say taking advantage of the MCs curse.
Remember MC boosting the shield and later getting cursed was never in thier plans so how were they gonna deal with him? If they are the reason MC was hired that would actually be beyond retarded writing "Lets hire a unwanted guy to keep the shield up" which thankfully isnt the case.

and if she gets better with barrier magic what's the plan then? sure she isnt good with it now but that could change depending on future events. they could also maybe find another person who can supplement her magic or, if they blatantly killer her like you say, there turns out to be someone else that can do the job better than her but never spoke up cause they didnt want the prince's wrath. stuff like this could happen which is why you dont idiotically give yourself away.
the MC hasnt been in the castle for quite some time so how do you suppose they use his curse to kill her? that prince may be an idiot but he isnt stupid enough to buy a story that some curse is why she got killed. he or the king would have the matter investigate and then, guess what Sir Bitchalot, the king would find out what's been done to the guy who was doing the barrier and then the prince tells him it was the bad guy who told hime to do it. thereby screwing his plans up even more.
the MC was cursed because of the bad guys so i have zero idea why youre saying him being cursed wasnt in their plans. it was literally their plan on how to get the MC away from the barrier stone. just another example of something you bitch about that was already explained/shown in the series.

All the argument I see from those two is just like
A : "That country is gonna fall for sure, so don't do anything overly careful and just do the shit quickly"
B : "Noo! Just do it carefully in case they able to defend and our ambush resulting none, patience and careful is the way"
I mean, no one is wrong here, imo I'll go for the careful one cause it's still a better plan without to have all the backup plan ruined. I really didn't want to gamble my all for 70-85% win rate, like if I fail then that's all, start all again from the start.
If I still had a backup and the current is fail, that's it, go for the backup we goo!
My only complaint is that they do the assassination really slow, like why even killing the main when you can just let one stay on guard monitoring the chance of all target sleeping, do some little recon around the area to make sure, then do the good old "bandit ambush" pretend and made the carriage all fucked up. That's how the "bandit" do. Heck, even taking the girl hostage would be really bandit-like, as one do fetch some good money with that look.

It's still only 11 chapters... and in the end, it is just an honest opinion and sharing some frustration from the read...
Like, if it was chapter 50 and his issue was with the whole story, then I'd get it...
Or complaining about the chapter itself (dude was treated badly by the kingdom and ends up saving it anyways)

Normally I’d be fine with someone pointing out issues (that is if they’re valid issues) however Sir Bitchalot doesn’t get that allowance as all he does is bitch and moan about “issues” in so many series. Most of the time their bitching is about things that aren’t actual issues and my patience with them grew too thin for me to give what they says a pass anymore.
Honestly I don’t think they’re an honest interloper and just want to bitch and moan about stuff. Their comments in Tsuki ga were especially annoying to me as their complaints didn’t make any sense to someone who has actual read the series.
