By the way about CH 0 page 11 on footnote about the I, me pronoun
私 (watashi) is used by both genres in polite speech (keigo)
俺 (ore) is used by male in familiar/rude language (zokugo)
You'll never use it at your workplace because you'll be rude to your co workers)
あたし(atashi) used by females is also considered too familiar
You'll always be safe using keigo or so said my college Japanese teacher
Never use familiar language outside the good context or else you'll be despised ... 出る釘は打たれる the nail that sticks out gets hammered down (Japanese proverb)
