Seriously, the further Luna and Naoto's relationship goes without confronting the allegations, the more I think we're going to the endgame without even beating the allegations.

Short spoiler: Still no truth, Luna lore/backstory, going into beach chapter
Long spoiler: With their close proximity, Naoto fights to keep lil' Naoto from reacting when suddenly, Luna asks about Naoto's plans for summer break. Naoto tells her that it hasn't been that long since he moved in, and it'll cost money to go back home so he'll be staying. Luna figured Naoto's mom would tell Naoto to come back home, but instead he was told to at least show up for New Years. Naoto then asks Luna's plans for summer, would she go back to her home.

Luna tells him that she won't. She haven't met with, hinted to be her parents, for years. Her dad's gone, presumably missing, since she was little, and she doesn't get along well with her mom. They haven't spoken much since her middle school years, which Naoto points out to be around the time Luna went to the countryside. This gives us age estimates of Luna being around 13~15 at the very least during the earliest of flashbacks.

Naoto said he didn't notice Luna's issues with her parents at all, but Luna said that's because of all the fun she's had spending time with Naoto all those summers ago, mentioning that it was the best, most special time of her life. Naoto tells her that it's too early for her to say that, as he declares that he'll update it all and that Luna should prepare for it.

Luna hugs Naoto, thanks him, and tells him she loves him. Days pass, and we reach August. Chapter ends with the whole gang (Luna, Naoto, Hiba, and Kawashina) in their swimwear at a beach.

Thanks for the preview as usual. Apart from the last panel, the rest was a, snoozefest. We are essentially regressing instead of progressing aren't we?

Unless something big happens come next chapter, this is as far we're going to get for a while, it seems.

Spoiler: I mean...

...it is going to be a beach chapter after all, what are the odds that some random guys would show up and try to pick up the girls at the beach, then them turning out to be from the same hometown, possibly including Kawashina's brother himself, just to stir up some drama seeing as everything's going along all too well... wait a minute.

On that chapter 12.5, did you see the panel where a girl (presumably Luna) is on top of MC? The one that is coloured at the beginning? When was that???

Timeline-wise, we don't know precisely when they'll get to that point, other than it being a possible future event.

So the guy underneath her is presumably Naoto but we are not 100% sure if it's another guy right? (had completely forgotten the panel from chapter 1)

Presumably another guy? Unless Naoto has a doppelgänger somewhere, the guy is for all intents and purposes, Naoto. Unlike speculating what was not shown as the presumed default, here we are clearly seeing a scene that depicts Luna easily passing Naoto's non-existent guard for the full mount, with no objects hiding the guy's face or anything. So as the default, that's Naoto unless proven otherwise.

It's literally from the opening pages of chapter 1. What's not clear is if it is depicting a future event (as the page prior depicted a past event), or if it is just a dream that Naoto is having, as he is narrating over the pages.
