Just a reminder. One of her secrets is that she used the app for "relieve" ( take that as you want). So it is confirmed she used the app more than once.

Considering what we know about the app, we're most likely being setup for a reveal that it was never about sex.

Then what kind of person do you think she is, when they emotionally crave each other, yet physically she relies on some random guy picked from a dating app to get off and kill her horniness? Just looking at that simple intent of wanting to take care of her urges with someone else—do you honestly still believe she isn't promiscuous? Even if she did sleep with the guy while only thinking about Naoto, would you still call her innocent?

So in the end, her intent was wanting to go back to being 'Luna-nee,' and her solution to that was going to sleep with some random stranger? That's so fucking weird, bro.
The "intent" here is what we don't know, we don't know what Luna was intending to do at the hotel, it's easy to say she wanted sex but clearly it's not going to be that simple.

Here's The Thing [Fantastic4_The_Thing.gif], we're also not told how her other escapades ended up at so that's that. As far as the thing with the last guy went, Luna seems more concerned about Naoto learning about her usage of the app more than anything.

The rumours from Kawashina's brother could've been the result of her not letting guys smash for some reason (maybe Naoto related), making it seem like she likes leading on guys only to hurt their hopes, becoming a rumour with malicious intent.

While rumours from Mimi's brother (aka Ryuuji) could've been the result of her doing the same thing again. It spread around due to her using the app, the question now is, did she ditched all of them as well? Some more mature guys who could've tried to play the long game might've gotten turned into mere drinking buddies instead, as alcohol was somehow involved at some point with the last guy.

Then again, at the moment these are just speculations, mere possibilities.

Intent: ERASE sexual desire
Can't remember if I even mentioned this on another page or not but it does make me think, Luna meeting up with some random guy to have sex.....wouldn't that be doing the opposite of erasing it? Even more so if you already consider Luna a slut, having sex would only increase her desires not erase them.

Which does bring me back to that brief BDSM theory mentioned a few pages ago, I'm not sure if that could even apply to Luna's hotel visit but thinking about it more and with what we've been told about the app and the previous rumours stated about Luna, I wonder if what she was aiming for was to try and create some type of atmosphere? Not a sexual one but maybe something else?

I don't know what her supposed 'hidden intent' is either, I'm just reading the context and the clues we were actually given:

  1. She was using a dating app with tags clearly meant for casual hookups/ONS, and had notifications showing 3 matches.
  2. She booked a hotel room, waited inside, and someone literally came knocking on the door.
  3. The latest chapter basically confirms that a guy did come and they likely met face-to-face, considering the text saying 'Sorry, even though you bothered coming all the way, I ended up leaving early.' The phrasing in Japanese is heavily associated with matching app meetups. Plus, she went as far as blocking him, so it definitely wasn't an acquaintance or some random girl.
  4. In previous chapters, she explicitly stated her goal was to 'erase her sexual desire.'
When you take her stated intent and combine it with calling a guy from a hookup app to a hotel room, how else am I supposed to interpret that other than wanting to smash? Even if nothing happened in the end, doing all of this while thinking about Naoto is wild. That's why I think she's definitely a slut—because doing that is just completely messed up in my eyes.

And another thing, when she was arguing with that person on the phone (back in chapter 9), right before she blocked them, she cursed at them calling them total trash. The context and nuances of those specific insults in Japanese are primarily directed at men, so you can pretty much infer that the other person was definitely a dude.

Thing is with what we've been told about the app it's not just about hookups and as far as interpretation goes, it's all about Luna's own word, she didn't talk about having sex with someone it was about ERASING sexual desire.

If Luna straight up said "I need to get over Nao by having sex with someone else" then we wouldn't need all this discussion but because we got this wording about erasing her sexual desire, it's not so clear even though it SHOULD be clear.

And the thing is, her screen literally showed that she specifically filtered for ONS. Look, I get that the app might have options for grabbing drinks, making friends, or whatever, but that specific tag was literally plastered right there on the screen. Because of that, I can't really see it being anything else. Let’s be real, a tag like that is already pretty self-explanatory about what the meetup is actually for.

Even if it seems obvious, the way this series does things lead to something as obvious as a ONS instead being something else entirely.

Who knows. I’m just trying to make sense of what the author actually gave us so far. For all we know, she might’ve just gone there to do mutual masturbation, just like she did with the MC.
Whatever the case, one thing's for sure: it definitely involves sexual desire/lust.

Yeah it involves erasing sexual desire but the method is something we're still completely in the dark about.

If "Dependency Theory" proves correct, then someone with an unhealthy obsession of becoming an "older sister"("Luna-nee") to her "younger brother"("Nao-kun") who is willing to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to be that "older sister", even if it means denying her own feelings towards him as a woman ("Luna").

Plenty of ways to stave off horni other than smash, guys do it all the time, every morning. For one, getting drunk hard enough actually REDUCES libido in a person, contrary to popular belief. "Tipsy is what gets you to the door, stop drinking once you get there." -is a tip that I often got from folks that actually worked in the industry.

The problem here is, you're so set on your own interpretation, that even when the author already proved that you guessed wrong, you still couldn't believe that possibilities other than Luna Smash could've existed.

Exactly, the author never outright told us what she went there to do. That's why I'm just deducing from a literal 'hookup app' that it was meant for fucking. Because honestly, with that setup, nothing else makes sense other than that kind of activity. Simple as that.

Of course and this manga seems to keep proving that something that seems to have a logical conclusion is not the case at all.

Look, I get what you're trying to say, but at the end of the day, there's literally zero evidence or context pointing toward her doing anything else. If there's actual proof, by all means, enlighten me. I'm not being biased here, I'm literally just connecting the dots based on the context the author has actually given us.

Still, looking at the text messages in the latest chapter, it pretty much confirms that she genuinely arranged to meet some random stranger at a hotel, even if they didn't end up doing anything. And honestly, it doesn't make much sense either. What actually makes no sense is how she suddenly ditched him after he had already shown up and met her right at the hotel. It feels way more like a sudden rewrite or the author pulling the plug on the scene out of nowhere.

That's what the disconnect is here, you're connecting the dots in a way that makes sense with the "evidence" that has been shown the same way Naoto has drawn his own conclusions about what Luna does, it's all purposeful by Suga, he presents a trail of breadcrumbs that point towards one thing but then reveals a separate trail going somewhere else entirely.

We don't have any definitive evidence to say with 100% certainty that Luna intended to have sex at the hotel because of how Suga has presented the whole situation.

On the otherhand, we also cannot conclusively guess what else could it be, the biggest gap here is that this whole time we've not been allowed to really see Luna's perspective.

Even if you only look at it from her perspective, the undeniable facts are: she went and waited inside a hotel room, someone actually showed up, and that person was the one she was chatting with on the app. Her blocking him also connects right back to multiple earlier chapters. So even strictly from her side of things, it’s painfully obvious that she intended to do something with a random guy at a hotel. And whatever that 'something' was... it had to involve sexual desire. I’m not even guessing at this point; this is literally what has been shown to us so far.

And we're still completely in the dark about what that "something" is, we only know Luna wanted to erase her sexual desire but that does not mean the method to erase that desire was sexual.

Then what do you make of her doing this in the first place? Meeting up with some random guy at a hotel to do 'something' tied to sexual desire—whatever that even means? In my eyes, that’s literally the definition of being a slut.

Well really, I can't consider her being a slut with regards to this hotel situation, again, if Luna made it clear she was looking to have fun then yeah, but with what we're being shown so far, I feel that the conclusion that she is a slut is rather shallow.
