This manga is so good. I love that it sidesteps a lot of tropes with regards to character behavior you'd expect from these kinds of characters and they act more like genuine people. They're flawed and make dumb, sometimes self destructive decisions.

Finally movement. Go for Lemon. The other one's (Kogahara) even more passive than he is (which is saying quite a bit), and furthermore by now thinks she's actually in love with Lemon.
Same with his buddy who thought he fell in love with Lemon when his best buddy was switched into her body.
Doesn't feel like a harem thing, luckily. (Although in a way, if Kogahara gets together with him, then she might as well live in a triangle, since that's what she sort of would get anyway.)

And I don't know about other people, but wow the stupid things I did when I was in junior high/high ... (not malicious, but just stupid, because I didn't know better ...). What I mean is, I've forgiven Lemon (because me forgiving her is the important part, of course!
I do remember that I think the author is weird, since this manga starts out with ML being super bitter and hung up on Lemon and her way of dumping him.
But.
It's been a while now.

I wanna know what thought process concluded with using the excuse of “I’m dumping you and btw I was messing around with 3 other guys. Bye!” The author is gonna have to jump through a LOT of hoops to explain that. If he gets back with her by the end, in spite of the trauma she caused him, then this will be a complete letdown. Like, there has to be point where she is confronted with just how much she hurt and scarred him with that.
Looking back at this comment, it is laughable how the entire premise of his trauma was sidelined as just an insecure high school girl who gave in to peer pressure. Author didn't jump through any hoops, no hoops existed. Sometimes, I feel that authors drag on certain story points to their detriment, but in this case, it's like the entire origin point of the story didn't exist at all. Who am I to blame? I should've just turned off my brain and swallowed all the drama instead of hoping for actual resolution.

I might sound too salty at this rom-com, but it's more of a disappointment because this could've gone so many ways that would've been 10 times more interesting than what we got – an average love triangle story with body-switching added to the mix.

I have to vent a little about this manga. I like the art style, even though it's not the best or worst, but I like the little ooc drawings that are only scribbles to accentuate the humor, and the characters are kinda cute? Well that is the best I can say about this manga for now. I am at chapter 60 and finally we get some background info... but did we have to wait that long to get into why the relationships happened as they happened? Also the whole deal about the break up destroyed the protagonist at the beginning of the story and he hated her and all that, and that is completely understandable, but now as the sitiuation is explained he already kinda knew... what? There is so much I hate about the pacing and the mindwork of these characters. He should hate her most of the time they interact, but then no, he already kinda knew because this female lead can do no wrong. And even if I want the protagonist to be more interesting or reliable, he is still more human and real than Lemon. She forgets halfway what she did to him (lying or cheating either way) and how that might have affected him. And what is up with Raika? How can she determine that ther is a body swap (also atm the most FU in the face of the reader because either she wished that or we will never know how it happened and it is just some random shit) at place AND she also knows whom she body swaps with AND on which days. I can believe that there is a random body swap taking place in a story but not that someone none of the two leads/swappers know finding out the most random thing without a real lead... The story is not unintersting but it takes some time. The girl living with Lemon is the best character atm. The leads best friend is way to uninteresting and ties with Raika for least interesting (she came so random into the story and did nothing of significance). I want to like this story and I kinda like it, but those things I talked about makes me fuming with anger - come on, why is the flashback so strange? His whole thing was that he saw her as a "witch" and happy to find new love and then bam "I alway knew you were just lying and trying to protect me or you had your own circumstances with your classmates" and this mindsets he has in the flashback and in the present only at the beginning of the manga he had the ire about her. (Which he should have kept in my book - would that make him look like a kid? Maybe. But it would have been understandable). Okay thanks for reading my ramble, if you did.

Okay little update. I couldn't read through all the flashback what mostly seemed like a drowning in self-pity and self-righteousness, with all those non-characters without faces - so you know they are not important. Her breaking up with the protagonist still makes no sense "oh I meant something different, or we should pretend or that's what my "friends" told " then maybe don't begin with "let's break up" and when asked to explain yourself don't run away. Her whole situation is absolutely not understandable "being too perfect or trying to so everyone hates you and don't want to understand you" - Oh my maybe I am the problem? IDC. Those brats made their problems into Lemons problems and she understands this even. So wtf? And even if I try to understand this whole thing, why not make up with him after all this time? Tell him! That is the least you can do. It's not that Lemon is a bad character, but the story makes her into a bad character. The whole time everything she does is going to be admired and she takes on everything to be admired at the end of the day. There are so many logic jumps that I can't even fathom what this story wants her to do... On one hand the story show her off, as if she is the best person there is. On the other hand is that the exact trauma she can't get over? And her not even being sure to like Sunao when they get together is okay, I even liked it, but then the story doesn't really give us a chance to see whats so good about him or makes her falls so hard for him, that years later she still loves him... This manga has it's highs but boy are the lows low... logic and plot holes and way too much babble without saying anything. Two to three chapters without making a point. Which the manga is notorious for in general but in the flashback I wasn't enough interested anymore.

btw why are Sunaos parents looking so depressing and dead inside? - I can't stop venting or sharing my opinion... I hate that everyone wraps Lemon in cotton... no harm to her no one should be angry... As Sunao: Even if you understand her whole situation, you have still have every right to be angry at her. You can be angry and then stop being it in the very same second, but none, nada. Everyone just empathizes with her... And at chapter 68 now... I wish this whole story would end. Stop the body swap and good. They got their friendship back. Okay. I don't care anymore. Just let him be with Kogahara and we are all fine.

I read through your whole ramble (I'm unemployed). The pain points you highlight are kind of what I feel. It's like the author himself forgot about his characters, or someone else took over the story midway and all he knows about the beginning is what he read in a summary.

I've heard about second screen scripts that dumb down the details so that people can keep it playing in the background while fiddling with their phones. Man, this story like second screen plot. All the nuance is gone. I'm only reading this for Kogahara now. I want to see her happy, but I have a feeling that the MC will go back to Lemon, since her name exists in the title.
