Tbh, they weren't good friends to begin with. How they can make that many assumptions, then turn on "friends" without trying to see their side of things. interesting. i kinda hope that the obvious pairing of shizuki and kusonoki doesn't happen just to validate kusunoki's 'just want to be friends' stance. like kusonoki learns that shizuki likes her, repeating a similar relationship drama, but things turn out fine.

I'd reckon that now that they are in hs, they are more mature and are able to see past it. That being said, we shouldn't give them too much leeway, they are still emotionally unaware kids, there's bound to be more drama and heartbreak coming soon. Lets just hope they are able to learn from the experience.
