WTH??? How can that count as cheating when there isn’t even an emotional affair involved??? I don’t know why you’re trying to justify Yuni’s shitty move here, but saying Nanase also cheated on Yui by prioritizing her (club) friends and club activities first is ridiculous.
It’s not like everyone thinks love should take priority over everything in their life. If you can’t accept that, just pleeeease break up with them—not cheat on them.
It's almost not worth even trying, because every time someone in this camp comments they try to paint the other person as fully condoning Yuni's behavior when I haven't personally seen that written once.
But, I will say this - Nanase prioritizes her "club activities", and her club friends, and recently even Yuki, over her actual girlfriend
constantly. She's completely inconsiderate of the burdens she places on Yuni when she
does try to include her - she asked her to go to a different city for that tournament, never once considering how Yuni would actually pay her way there, where she'd stay, eat, any of it.
At the waterpark? Yuki's there too. Oh, and she monopolized Nanase, and Nanase never pushed back on it.
The camping trip? This chapter? Meant to be this big "meet the parents" thing for Yuni? It's the most blatant example of all.
All her friends show up, and she was being introduced
as a friend. She posts their matching outfits to social media, all her teammates go buying them, she laments it well after the fact.
She
immediately lets herself be dragged off by Yuki, makes no effort to stop her, leaves Yuni behind who's pressganged into making everyone's food around a group of complete strangers.
And when Yuni
does meet Mom? Mom's never even heard of her. Not even as a friend; Nanase hid her completely from her family, who know all of uer volleyball friends including Yuki. That right there seems to indicate that Nanase isn't even willing to tell the people closest to her that Yuni exists in her life.
Some precious girlfriend, right?
No one here that I've seen has said Yuni was right to cheat. Stop putting words in people's mouths to make your argument, it's childish. Call Nanase a sad little victim who "made mistakes" all you like, but the author themselves and their narrative make it pretty clear that none of what Yuni did, however objectively abhorrent, didn't happen out of nothing.
And yeah. She should absolutely break up with Nanase. But currently she's trying to prove she can salvage and mend their relationship, after Nanase demanded her back from Fuuko.
Weirdly, Nanase seems to care more about spending time with Yuki than her actual girlfriend now, so maybe Yuni will soon wise up, ditch her, and go save Fuuko from her ongoing fiasco.
