Edit: It has been disabled because the new method was causing the site to crash when over 2000 people are online. Currently redoing it.

Here are the stats for the past month compared to 2 months ago:

As you can see, we have seen an increase of 83% in users to 1.1 million in the past month, as well as an increase of 68% in page views to 36 million.

So far we have managed to get the site going without any support, but soon we'll need your support to further upgrade the servers in order to continue coping with this phenomenal growth in users and activity.

There will be some fun ideas with regards to how we'll handle donations, so stay tuned! ?

The site is still pretty new... but hot damn , thats a lot of traffic and its still growing.

Also, considering this site allow H to be uploaded unlike the former bato.to which is pretty strict on mature content, people will see this site as an alternative to H exclusive site like Exh or Nh if we update the H directory regularly, and that will end up in more traffic coming lol.

If I'm reading this right and for every 1 dollar you charge everyone a month you will make about 2 million a month. I'm OK with that. I'm with Flugel, I will not go to kiss^^@^&@ because of their viral inducing ads and if this sight goes in that direction I'll leave here as well.

This is ok, to keep the whole expensive infrastructure up donations are indeed a good tool.
You can also use some non-invasive ads widgets.

Any kind of revenue stream is always good. Small banner ads or something like that is fine. I do like the idea of a patreon kind of deal so people can support it monthly.

You can always do something like what AO3 and Wikipedia do for theirs, aka calculate the yearly cost of running the site, then every year have a funding period that encourages people to donate until the funding goal is met.

I’m really liking this system here right now. I’ve been unfortunately staying with some aggregate site due to their bookmarking system, so I’m really glad to finally see a successor of baototo with a good bookmark and filter system.

I'm all about that fun idea, so far the only real fun donation I've ever encounter is e-hentai, it literally gives you currency to use in a game which is actually pretty good mmm...
But even normal donation will be fine as long as it benefit the site mmm...

I'm not going to ruin the surprise, but I can say with near certainty that we will *not* be using traditional ads unless our initial idea does not work as well as we'd like it to.

We want to avoid ruining the ad-free experience we've managed to cultivate so far.

Batoto had a one time donation policy to obtain a lifetime ad-free status on their site. I am a retired old fart on a limited pension and cannot afford a continuing subscription such as that of Patreon, but I would be willing to donate a one time amount to support this site as I did with Batoto. Of course, to protect my PC, I will still keep my Adblock and NoScript features active at all times. I have had to wipe my hard drive before due to ad-carried malware and will never take that chance again. I quit using Kissanime's site because they have installed an adblock detecting program that prevents their videos from being watched if an active adblock program is being used. And yet they are one of the sites that I had acquired ad-carried malware from in the past. So I now use different sites to watch anime from.
