That depends. If you combine the three primary colors (or two that are opposite on the color wheel) as pigments you will get black, so in that case black is multiple colors and white is the absence of color. If you combine the three primary colors as lights you will get white, so in that case black is the absence of color.

(Note that the primary colors for pigments and for light are different.)
Well, duh. Pigments absorb light and reflect the rest. Of course it would be opposite.
