Man these 2 were great, im more surprised it didnt get all that smexual tbh, just a somewhat heartfelt, cute story of 2 people struggling with issues and finding their solutions while being together and havinf to rely on each other, even if they feel reluctant to accept it.

I don’t know if that’s the case here, but in a lot of manhua/manga works there’s often a lot of excessive humility in authors notes where they apologize for not being good enough and promise to do better next time. For them it comes off as being overconfident/bragging if you aren’t overly humble in your acknowledgements.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen an author's note that doesn't apologize for something. Even being sick is an "I'm so desperately sorry for not meeting your standards." Meanwhile, they were in the hospital for 6 months battling a major illness. Excessive to me but I've come to expect it.

This is one of the manhuas I've been following every chapter release of, so it does make me sad that the authors see it in such light. But I'm thankful that it was done and that we've reached a good ending, and for the translation for western audiences. See y'all in the next one

I know authors must stay humble in notes but this really felt like they were apologizing like they just released the worst thing ever ... I really liked the story! The ending came quick but I think it would have dragged else so good on them for knowing when to end it.

It could be a cultural reasons that haven’t crossed over to west.

Im sad this is over. Absolutely loved this start to finish, as well as the fact that while at first I thought this wouldn't finish due to how behind the eng translation was at first and the other translation not updating in months, I thought at first this would be a case of read and wait to see if it updates.
