to a few pages later our "I'm not like the other succubi" FL responding to knowledge that the ML "isn't into erotic stuff" by deciding "Eureka, I shall do sex crimes to him rather than confess my feelings!"
Yeah, that's a good clarification, and it's why I reserved the insulting version for the ML who is definitely doing that. I still feel like it's worth noting that Emu 1) recognizes she's different than what's expected of her race and 2) is not interested in pretending to be, just to fit in. That's not a bad thing, but it makes the conclusion she comes to even moreIt's not as if she herself was acting like she was superior to those other succubi by not being erotic or that she could never ever have erotic feelings for somebody else. She understood that succubi as a race were predisposed to a higher level of attraction to men, its just that she herself never felt that way towards other men until she met a guy that she actually had feelings for and wanted to attract.
Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai Lite version, lel. The difference is, here MC is the one trying to hold back his desires, while Katou is the one desperately wanting to let hers out. The only other difference is their race, the heroine is a succubus while the MC is human
I kinda expect things to go this way.I really like that it isn't the trope that she's in love with him just because he's "not perverted like the other guys" which ever other manga of this genre uses.
I just hope that this manga doesn't blue ball us for 50 chapters with increasingly frustrating and repetitive bullshit, only to rush the confession at the end and get axed.
I agree with most of this except I dont find it to be a problem that he asked her to put on shorts. Of course, he shouldnt have tried to look in the first place and is a hypocrite for sure but i personally dont see a problem with being uncomfortable with someone you like showing a lot of skin. It can be a problem if taken to an extreme or if its being used as a control thing, but with what she was implied to be wearing I can understand how he feels.I'm similarly unsure if the author realizes that the way they handled the ML's whole battle leaves him coming off as not just a pickme-ass bitch but a total hypocrite. "I need her to realize I'm not like those other filthy men when I'm the one starin' at her crotch. I'd better police the modesty of her wardrobe."
What did you expect else from Koi to Uso author?60+ pages of absolutely mediocre writing![]()
It looks like it was engineered specifically for that kind of padding, with all the misunderstanding, miscommunication, dishonesty and awkwardness to fuel their mind games forever. The chapter itself was long-winded, too.I just hope that this manga doesn't blue ball us for 50 chapters with increasingly frustrating and repetitive bullshit, only to rush the confession at the end and get axed.
