Love letting the dps die and rezzing them at my leisure, if your doing what your supposed to or your lagging ill pick you up no problem, but if you adamantly refuse to work with the party then you can floor tank until you understand your actions
Supports have the power to literally decide if you live or die. They also have the power to decide if you get to rejoin the game.
They're the ones who pull your ass out of the fire.
Don't f*ck with the supports. They're the backbone of a good team.
@meong Rezzing doesn't directly cause the white mage to die, it just generates a ton of aggro. So before Tsutomu introduced the idea of the tank role, rezzing someone would cause the white mage to instantly gain aggro and be squashed by the enemy soon after.
@meong the Raise spell just generates a large amount of aggro. Because no one was running with dedicated tanks, the healer using Raise instantly had them targeted by enemies, and healers are squishy.
@meong no, you remember right. Before Tsutomo that was the norm. White mages were expected to sacrifice themselves to raise any fallen party member, which was perceived as more important than a healer. Since agro management was non existent the white mage immediately gained agro and died after rezzing someone, thus they never used rez more than once as without them there was no one else to rez them, so they were forced to respawn outside dungeon. Tsutomo did not approve.
