What we expected:

I thought it was expected. Last page of previous chapter was her saying she wasn't qualified for love. This was the natural follow-up.

On a personal level, the girls are kinda shitty (although both have taken some strides in the right direction, especially Kon). On a character level, they have a lot of potential for growth, which is usually interesting in stories.

He's kind of like that with everyone, though.

This honestly feels like a short project, nothing in the domain of Kaguya lengths of planning ahead, me thinks.

We only have 4 MCs with already established relations between each of them. Knowing aka, I think he might just wanna go for a 10 volume 100 chapter or so run, then start up a new project.

The side cast is kinda bubbly and wholesome tho, like the manga club, Seki's friends or even the love agency tenchou. I doubt most them will actually get an entire arc for themselves, and we already kinda shipped off the manga club girl with her childhood friend as well.

Given that Pon saw her fight with him often and made that shell break a bit we know he has that too. Also Seki did say it only worked because he is after only 1 girl

Oof. You're hitting a little close to home there, Kon... I know that feeling. Hating yourself because you like people, but you are a problem to them... And hating yourself more for not having the guts to pull the trigger (Literally, in my case)

Edit: I suppose I should mention that these are problems I had when I was younger (around Kon's age, actually), and they have eased with time. It gets easier as you get older. You just need to make it there.

I relate to a degree. I do love myself, yet I know I can create issues for people around me, so I have a sub-concious tendency to avoid certain types of relationships due to not wanting to be a burden, create issues, or in a romantic sense, feeling as if I just have too much baggage for the other person to handle. I love people, and I want as many close and intimate relationships as possible, yet I don't always feel I can have them.
