@knightkamia , IKR, there are so many potential and possibilities with other kinds of companions/party members even if the character is a slave. I mean, even if the slave trope HAS TO BE a female for fanservice purposes (not that male character cannot be for fanservice but you know what I mean), there are so many other races/traits that the character could be, in a high fantasy setting, like harpy/dragonfolk/demon like succubus/dhampir because vampire might be too strong be a captured slave and less sunlight-resistant/oni/dwarf/nymph/etc...

So far, the female slave characters I've seen in isekai genre has mostly been submissive hurt of origins like elf or wolf beastfolk. I mean, even it has to be a beastfolk, there are so many different beasts within beastfolk category but it's always a wolf character wth? I don't understand why so many isekai authors have such limited and narrow creativity and obsession when it's a high fantasy world full of many other races, unlike Overlord, Re:Monster goblin, Slime, Kumo spider, like where are the non-wolf or non-elf other-races-stans isekai authors at?

The only isekai manga with male slave character is "Saikyou no Shokugyou wa Yuusha demo Kenja demo", but it's still a wolf character, who comes along with a female loli, and he doesn't even have a human face like most if not all of the main non-human female characters in isekai are.

Regardless, Imma read a few more chapters of this manga to see if the plot is actually interesting for now.

Usually, the settings is that weak race is prone to be enslaved because they're weak. So those other fun races won't work because there'd be no logic (unless there's one or two because of debt, for example).
