The usual. The author caught a "cold"(covid or something), and decided to take a (so far) 5 month paid holliday.Hiatus? Why?![]()
It's Japan, why wouldn't Japan draw middle schooler like this? Japan is really perverted lolThis is fucking gross, why would you draw middle schoolers like that?
Yup. The "episodes" on coolmic are just the real chapters chopped up into sets of 10 or so pages each. Don't bother, if you really wanna support the official release just buy the volumes from J-Novel club. Can someone explain. It says that series is in hiatus with 53 chapters but here https://coolmic.me/titles/1110 there are 163 episodes. Did they just chop them up in a weird way?
The English translation of the original tweet via Google Translate reads differently:The author seems to be going through a deep depression
I have gotten Covid twice since 2020. Both times I was layed out for about a week. I haven't heard of almost anyone who got taken out for the better part of a year. It's not like it's cancer. This has been a long ass illness. The English translation of the original tweet via Google Translate reads differently:
"Ah, I feel really sick.
Even though it's the most important time, I can't draw manga,
I gained a lot of weight due to stress.
I can't do anything I like.
I really hate muttering things like this, but
Please let me vent a little. Please excuse me.
It's really painful that I can't draw even if I want to."
Picking a little at the machine translation, the author uses the word darui (だるい) in the first sentence, meaning feeling tired, heavy, sluggish, which would indicate physical fatigue in context of tweet.
Without speculating too much, to me it sound like the author still hasn't recovered from their illness (probably COVID) and is still dealing with their virus damaged body which is not capable of the heavy physical workload of being a mangaka. They do sound very depressed about the whole thing, understandably so.
Depends on the person, illness can trigger a chronic fatigue in some people, more likely if they were the kind of person that would push forward daily without proper rest, diet, etc for years prior. That chronic fatigue could take months to recover from even through the right protocols.I have gotten Covid twice since 2020. Both times I was layed out for about a week. Is This whole manga is just fetishes involving Middle School girls if it is I've watch so much shitty manga this just seem like another Tuesday for me is this what passed off as the average b tier manga nowadays man Japan really has fallen when it comes to comic books even the most mid shit during the 90's is better than this Hebephilia BS
As much as I want to defend it, I can't do it without making myself look like the average Rick & Morty watcher.
Even if that's true the fact they had to portray that in a comedic sort of way with middle school girl being a dominatrix doesn't make it any better unless they do it in a more serious way in later chapters then I guess I can give it somewhat of a higher rating but if not I don't think has nothing to do for "it's not being for me" you can add something with sexual content even taboo and be well written I just think it's shit so far and even if you say you can portray a serious lesson through comedy so far it's not funny but maybe my tune will changeAs much as I want to defend it, I can't do it without making myself look like the average Rick & Morty watcher.
So I'll just state the following, which might sound gatekeep-y, but rings true:
If you can't look past the sexual content and see it as a tool of self-discovery for teenagers, then this series isn't for you. There is more here psychologically than carnally.
