I understand what you mean. And I do not take it personally. The only thing I would say to that, is that she doesn't extend that courtesy to the other magical girls.
You could argue she then lacks self-awareness to not see the hypocrisy, but the fact remains that, if she's the prosecutor "believing all the lies told to her" in a courtroom built on the premise of convicting MGs and sentencing them to things like "forced pregnancy for life via monster insect", then the bar should be a little bit higher for making certain she's not doing an ass job at it.
Ultimately this whole story is just a vehicle for depicting the author's/artist's fetishes, but I'm just asking for a bit of internal consistency in the world.
None of that is push-back against you specifically; just something that irks me about her character in general lol
Unless the gimmick is she is incompetent and potentially corrupt, and at some point down the line there will be consequences for how this "MGJS" functions (which, I admit, I'd be 1000% down to see as an "Anarchism / MG Rebellion Arc").
But in her defense, it seems that everyone in this world lack self-awareness about the absurdity of the magical girl trial in the first place. So, expecting a young school girl to be aware how idiotic the punishments are, is a tall order, when literally everyone else does not see anything wrong with it in the first place. I mean, this is a world where live-streaming a magical girl being raped to death by a monster, is treated as some exclusive blockbuster event.
The only two people that we know that are actually aware of how absurd this whole situation is are Aoi and Yuuri. I don't know about Yuuri, but the only reason Aoi is against the whole thing is because Aoi almost was punished because of it.
And to be fair, magical girls are not forced to become magical girls and fight. They have to actually choose to become magical girls and chose to transform and fight in the first place. No one forced them to do anything. They choose to fight, knowing the consequences.
Ultimately, this whole teenage girls fighting monsters and bad guys is simply absurd to begin with. So, you need female virgins to become magical girls. Then recruit them when they're virgin adults. It's best to simply turn off your brain and take everything at face value.
