I actually talked with the author of this manga and he said the series ends with a huge fight. the brother saves his sister from his childhood friend's rampage where she kept trying to beat her up and drill her. they finally are alone again after the childhood friend is arrested and they almost share a passionate kiss but then the brother launches out of his shoes and blows up into a million little pieces
