At this point. Baal should just recruit and/or team up with Iruma.
FWIW I do think Baal is being genuine when he compliments Iruma's greed and such. Remember also that humans = bad was Narnia's deal, I get the feeling Baal would be happy to use whatever tools he had available to reach his goal of transcending. I think he's actually kind of impressed with him, he just knows they land on different sides of the conflict.

For this series, it ain't about the destination (we all know the end result already), it's about the journey to get there.
This arc fully encapsulates this. What a great job they've done with the storytelling and the portrail of the haunted house is top notch.

I don't know why but the way this chapter was written with the last few being about the horrors and growth of Galna just make this so exciting! I wish we could have the whole arc since nothing has built up to this before.

Also can we please get a Ameri and Iruma date in the haunted house where Ameri is a scared damsel for 1 sec and we see Iruma play his suave?

I wonder if the waiver they signed is a real one in case they do suffer harm or one to help keep the idea that "hey there might be stuff that can seriously harm or even kill us inside this thing" kind of like why some people don't find horror movies scary because it doesn't have any actual impact on them. having them sign a waiver will keep the idea that it might actually be real in their mind so any scary thing they see has either an effect or a greater effect then it would have standalone. though like another comment said it kind of breaks the whole immersion which might mean it is an actual thing they had to have signed.

The magitools battler is not legally accountable for the state of your pants during and after the show

I think it's an actual waiver cuz this is the 1st time a haunted house is created in the demon world and they need to be extra careful. Not to mention the fact that the main attraction was a cognito-hazard and we don't know how much the effects are dilluted

I agree. If I remember right, even Baal had chills thinking about the kind of Demon King Iruma could become.

All of these build-ups and I've been expecting a reveal of the painting on a frame, wanting to know how good of a piece it would be. But I guess the author goes with the immersion instead, as if Galna is exactly there in the museum with the visitors.

It's not that I don't like it, though. It's nice to tell a story rather than just flat out reveal Galna like "Here you go. This is THE Galna piece. Now, marvel and fear the painting, you plebs." 🤣

gotta love the boys reading the consent form about how they can get injured or physical/mentally stressed and then signing it without a second thought 😂

Having to sign that before entering may break a bit the immersion, but makes it so much worse on you enter.
You are being legally told that there is a considerable chance of you getting seriously injured if you enter, so anything dangerous inside will start feeling like it REALLY is dangerous XD.
It's not even that far out of place in reality, that one haunted house I went to did have consent forms before entering.

When I saw those consent forms I started chuckling, and the author most likely got inspired from one of those haunted houses with consent forms.

So Iruma isn't even in "wicked" phase, but he's willing to subject his close friends to psychological harm? cool he's growing, little prank never hurt anyone, except for that one lady at an airport who got pranked by being "fired" and escorted out of the building by two real ass policemen, who were told by her coworkers "yeah she's gonna be totally fine with it"
She was not fine with it. She got PTSD from it and sued the hell out of the company. I've read the court docs, and the defense boiled down to "yeah but it was a prank." I recommend reading them, good time
Looked it up, it was fuerschbach v. southwest airlines. Genuinely, read the case summary, it's a comedy
