Ayyy I was kinda right about Clara’s fear

Alrighty, I don’t really see this as an “omg Clara and azz ship sailing yippee” moment but rather a moment of realization for azz on how he treats Clara. Since Iruma is at least nice to her, azz probably feels guilty and wants to comfort her. So of course I feel like he’s gonna open up to her about his own securities (and maybe even love for iruma) and/or finally admit he loves her just as he loves iruma

I can’t believe that Clara’s big secret is that she’s a yandere

her big secret is that she is always worried, being a yandere is her evil phase, in contrast to her normal self which is a bakadere (using it since we are using dere terms, think it's one of the most self-explanatory "dere" archetypes lol).

I really like we get to see that she has always worried at the same time she has acted all happy and playful, even when we see her in a more calmed down mood or unhappy, we don't really see such emotions, she probably represses her worries and most of the time ignores them or is even unaware of them, because she just likes so much more continuing to be happy with her dear friends.

It's awesome that it seems to be Azz that helps to snap Clara out of it. While Iruma and Clara get along well together, Clara is actually held back a bit by how accepting Iruma is of her, whereas Asmodeus pushes her to change in ways that are necessary (while she does the same for him.) Sometimes being too accepting of another's flaws can be more harmful than pushing a person to change because, while none of us are perfect, there is always room to improve. This is honestly part of why I like the idea of shipping Asmodeus and Clara since they have the kind of chemistry where it's like each person has a piece that the other lacks. I don't fully ship them because their dynamic as friends is something I hold sacred, but I also wouldn't be opposed to the story moving in the direction of them getting together if the author so chooses, either path can be perfectly great if handled correctly. What's most important to me is that Clara and Asmodeus are good for each other, whether as friends or as something more because they both have something the other needs, with Iruma being the binding glue that helped these two normally incompatible pieces to fit together.

Interestingly... the fact Clara seems to never have entered her evil cycle before may have contributed to how this one is being so extreme.

The evil cycle does have a function to let devils let off some pressure now and then, but she is naturally bubbly, even with her insecurities, so... despite having them somewhat "under control", this evil cycle of her amplified a lot of her inner thoughts.

Or at least she never went off in the presence of others, given how far from anyone her family is. It's an interesting note that Clara is also probably pretty normally immune to the issues of evil cycles because of how hyperactive she is. Just like how Devidols, Walter Park and other such activities are in place to relieve the stress that would induce an evil cycle, Clara's family staves off stress by treating everyday as a new adventure and playing just about anytime time they possibly can. I would be surprised if her brother that is "normal" is more prone to evil cycles because of this difference in behavior.

I think Clara feels she always needs to appear fun and carefree to her friends, and feels that bringing up her worries or other concerns would make her "un-fun" to them and reject her.
