Thank you, finally someone said it.

Like did people forget that Clara enrolled into succubus class purely for Iruma..?
Iruma might have been her first crush. But stuff like this can easily build up to a more equal and proper relationship between those 2.

As it is just sad atm to see her being just the funny kid who tries to seduce Iruma when he is miles ahead with Ameri in terms of relationship progression.

This arc has given me some really good reaction images.

I completely agree with you.

My point was that she enrolled in succubus classes primarily for Iruma, showcasing her dedication.

I sincerely hope that we witness more progress in their relationship in the near future. It's clear that she still has a crush on Iruma and even views Ameri as a rival.

Clara is such a bad character in this arc. In a way that she's supposed to be OP but dumb. Then in this chapter, she have this desires to help her friends but keep fooling around doing nothing and then feeling insecure because of her incompetents. Other characters evil cycle bring them up to another level, while Clara's evil cycle is about bringing other stoop down to her level.

It was sadly only shown as yet another joke sadly. And I really hope that this arc help cement that Iruma being this kind to demons only backfires. As after all, this is the 2nd time his kindness backfired first time being with his senior in the club. The guy wants to eat him now might I remind people.

As much as it would hurt, I think Clera and Azu make a better couple. As currently she Idolise Iruma so it will always feels odd to date your hero. Where there is a real give and take between those people as we saw this chapter.

I want to know as well, but I like the "sidequests". Unlike many other mangas this one actually gives screen time to the other characters to develop and grow. In many other mangas Clara would be relegated to a mere funny-annoying love rival just to spoil any progress between Iruma and Ameri, the rest of the class would barely exist outside some funny tropes and the occasional appearance just to remind us that they still exist. What I'm trying to say is part of the charm of this series is the Misfit class and their dynamics and I don't really want to have to choose between them and plot progression.
Most of this manga is "sidequests", and this manga rules. It also tends to punctuate serious moments with femboys and lesbians frolicking around for a bit. (Which are important to the plot. Him hanging out doing stereotypically girly things will somehow tie in with Ali- AHEM I mean Delkira's legacy.
I think the lore is really cool, but this is a manga where his butler, who is a cat, keeps making him summon his teacher as a familiar, because they think he's cute like that and they want to touch his floof. All of that is important to the plot.

It is and has been a goofy, silly, touching, exciting, hilarious, gut-wrenching, mishmash and all over the place, and yet is somehow perfect.

Honestly, looking at page 16 again, I think that was showing how this really was the turning point for Clara not being able to come back from this decision. The top Clara was of course the evil cycle Clara, but the bottom one was actually normal Clara gaining heart eyes; You can tell from how the hair looks more organized. I think Clara‘s fate would’ve been sealed if she was able to consume Iruma in that cage and she would’ve maybe turned into something close to a Return to Origin permanently had Azz not given her a reality check(the belief that Iruma forgiving her choices no matter what she does is a very dangerous thought, as we all know).

I love this chapter so much! The art is beautiful. Clara's feelings feel so genuine and it's really telling how much she was missing out in the story. It hurt me when Clara thought those senarios would be the future with them😭 I'm looking forward her getting even more closer in the love trio.
Azz's response to her in the end felt like a slap, it was really funny, I thought he was going to say something else, something more serious, but the moron part got me. (≧∇≦)ノ I love this series so much!

I figured that's exactly how he would start, and, ironically, it's because it's exactly what she needs to hear right now, especially if the words that follow are what I think they will be because, as I said last time, Asmodeus has always been the one that has the resolve to tell Clara how she should improve. Clara knows how to make the route to improvement fun, but Asmodeus is the one that can help focus that energy so it doesn't get distracted along the way, and then Iruma is the glue that binds the two together. Whether this whole thing leads to something of a confession or just is Asmodeus helping Clara to break away from her insecurities, I can't wait to see what comes next.

It's interesting that we actually get a bit more understanding that in their evil cycle the evil actually tries to take over and the cycle is the time it takes to wrestle back control
It really is pretty cool, and it's a rather telling about how bad the warzone area, where many demons go just so they can let their evil cycles go wild, must be. It also kind of paints a picture about what Baal's world, where Demons go back to their base instincts, might look like. Thinking about it, could Behemolt's transformation be related to some experiment on Baal's part to make the evil cycle the one in control. We know evil cycles can lead to some drastic changes in appearance and Behemolt was rather obsessed with eating 🤔

All this time, Clara just wanted to be in the spotlight and save days. Poor lonely child. But next to her there is always a Iruma with monstrous charm and straight man Azz Azz.
The funny thing is, she actually has had some spotlight moments, like when she got things rolling with teaching the many-eared, but one's inner demons always have a way of convincing us that those moments don't exist, especially for someone that both has some trauma in their background (something we saw hinder Iruma as well in the harvest festival) and has struggled to make real friends (despite wanting them.) 🤔

As much as I like this manga and following in a long time, I feel like we are stuck in sidequests and firget about the main objectives. There is a reason why many people (inc. me) like the IF Mafia spin-off more than the original. I want to reach the point where the other characters learn that Iruma is a human. What actually happened to Delkira? What was that whole Gods stuff in the Netherworld? I know we can't get all this quickly, but the pacing could be better managed.
Agree to disagree, one of the great charms of this series is that it's allowed to actually be slice of life. It's kind of like Gintama where it switches between two different, but fairly compatible, genres as it needs (Gintama being gag/action while this is slice of life mixed with action.) If you're in too much of a rush to get to the destination, then the journey just ends, and that kind of stinks. It's honestly kind of nice that Iruma isn't the only character that gets to stand spotlight, but that only gets to happen because the series isn't in some rush to get to the end 🤔

Yep, ppl seem to forget Clara likes iruma, and it’s to the point where ameri sees her as a rival, Clara and azz are more like bickering siblings so idk why ppl were expecting some confession or some shit…
Thank you, finally someone said it.

While I'm not trying to say your views are invalid, I do want to point out that it's both possible for a person to fall for two different people and for new feelings to arise. Azz and Clara have some pretty good chemistry with one another, which is the basis behind the thought process of the two being a potential ship. Now I'm not saying this means they'll definitely be a thing, as much as I like the idea of the two getting together (since I kind of like the enemies/rivals/bickering friends to lovers trope) I do think they're more likely to be remain in the friend zone (depending on Asmodeus's next words,) but I just wanted to point out what is fueling the thoughts of the shippers at the moment and the fact that they aren't doing it without any basis. It'll all really depend on what Asmodeus says next.
