Of all the demons to get into human realm, mephisto may be the least adapting. His life is about understanding custom, but of demon perspective. It will be like Jack Skellington in Christmas Town, overwhelmed and missing a key to understanding.
Unless Nishi decides to adapt a certain little piece of German folklore into Mephisto's backstory...

Something like that would be so peak.

Mmm, could Mephisto be the reason Sullivan made Iruma chant a forbidden spell on the first day of school? also I think is super cool that Mephisto doesnt follow the rules because he is inspired on a demon of literature, not one found in the Ars Goetia or myths like the majority of demons shown so far
I think the reason Sullivan did that was to give Iruma a boost because without Ali, he can't actually use magic, so he wasn't at risk of messing the spell up.

There we have it! The reason why Mephisto's title "Bangai-ou" was so difficult to translate. But it really does mean "King outside the Board" and isn't some metaphor.

That explains how Mephisto poked holes into everything… He literally made that area a void… Turn everything in its path into nothing, whether it be kraken’s flesh or barrier.
And he does it with silent incantation. Man is so old that he can cast forbidden magic with such precision and ease. He's so cool.

So mephisto bloodline is just immortality while being Infertile?
Sounds like bud got the short end of the stick with this one. It is more of a curse than power imo
