As in the main manga series Balam teaches different things about imaginary creatures and I think Balam might have some knowledge of using wild plants for medical purposes and Balam in the Iruma If mafia manga series is the doctor of the mafia.

It makes sense in the context, and suits the plot, but please keep it from getting weird, sensei...

Do find it interesting that this version seems to be setting up Ameri as 1/3 of a new Love Trio, and considering there's only girls for him his age, and the fact that Nishi has say in planning, and final cut, there's gotta be SOME guy in the wings, aside Kiriwo.
Unless she's gonna let Iruma much more clearly reciprocating at least in feelings being a "Hey, audience. He likes guys, too," and call it done.

This story gets DARK, but please don't let it get weird... This Azz is less appealing (his devotion is wild.
