Clean and cartoony artstyle that fits the comedic purpose of the manga; Simple and sufficient character designs with interesting personalities that make good contrast with each other, which in turn helps on setting up funny situations and punchlines; And a good enough premise. I've seen that idea (Witch hiding from Inquisition) reproduced in other series before but not as a comedy story, so I can appreciate the originality.
