Have to repeat what everyone else basically said, her light novel version feels generic as fuck, her loli form is way more memorable and  sexier cuter, the manga expressions also really help.

It's like they purposely try make light novel art as generic as possible.

Still can't get used to how the characters looks so very different between the Manga and the Light Novel.

For example, Glenn and Cecilia look like scumbag versions of Subaru and Emilia.

I agree that a lot of the LN art looks very generic, but I really like LN Cecilia here.

On the rock mushrooms not being thrown by the spell, perhaps because they are “alive” and/or “mushrooms”, hence not affected by the spell. (Of course it possible that it just slipped their minds).

I think it's not about the Object that's been thrown but that cancelling the Spell won't stop the inertia. The Spell just accelerates the Object to lethal speed but once it disappears you still have a very fast and heavy/sharp object. They also threw Swords and stuff.

I know you like to put the disclaimer about MTL, but if you didn't, I wouldn't even notice. You do good work with proofreading, cleaning, and redrawing. Keep it up, love this manga.

Weapon throw seems less like a "defunct" spell and more like a specialised spell, It's specialised for anti-magic.

On the note of everyone comparing LN and manga art, I think a lot of novelists probably outsource the art since a novel is, well, a novel. The contents are primarily text so the novelist will want to focus on what they do best, words. Meaning there is a good chance that if they want art for it they will ask the publisher who in turn will outsource it to whom is most likely their "go to" who likewise will in turn offer a discount for continued patronage, meaning the publisher will keep going to them creating a cycle.

TLDR- This is all a convoluted roundabout way to say that a lot of LN art is probably done by only a few people resulting in a lot of the art appearing "generic".

I would have preferred the dragon to have been an adult woman rather than a teenage girl or a loli.

Looks like Weapon Shoot is a poor man's Gate of Babylon.
