Uhhh, that's how stories work, mate. You need to accept the initial premise. Otherwise, you can't enjoy any stories about superheroes, the supernatural, science fiction, fantasy, etc.

No, it's not. What you're talking about, most likely, is suspension of disbelief; you need at least some of that for any sort of fiction--by virtue of and starting with the fact that it's fiction. What I was talking about was the author defying such suspension to the point at which one could reasonably expect it to be undone--under the belief it could never happen because the reader's too simple to question anything.

Also, if you think 100 Girlfriends is bad, maybe you should stay away from school manga? We all have our tastes, but I can't for the life of me figure out what lens and ruler you're using to judge and measure the media you consume.

Don't wager your life so carelessly. The metric by which I evaluate media isn't hard to identify or understand at all--if you aren't blinded by bias, contempt, or simple ignorance.

If we're talking just the initial premise and not where it's taken or how it's executed, I don't remember having any struggles accepting any work of fiction's ask to suspend my disbelief, but that's just me. I guess some people would still have their preferences and limits when it comes to buying in to a story's beginning.

You say it's not hard to identify or understand, but you didn't really tell me. Now I am very interested in finding out considering your claim that they can only be understood by people who aren't "blinded by bias, contempt, or simple ignorance."

Likely better to watch the anime and then read the light novels unless you really like this medium.

Don't worry about their opinion, their emphasis on framing people who don't agree with them as "simple" gives away the fact that their arguments are built on castles of sand.

RIP
Got hit by the DMCA so all chapters are gone.
If you're reading this, better look elsewhere for chapters. (Don't mention them here though)
A comprehensive (but not full) list of manga taken down by the DMCA can be found if you search for it.

These mangaka are becoming quite impudent in their belief that the reader is stupid. Then again, maybe not--there are a bunch of people who'll get pissed if you tell them lolicon is pedophilia.

This author has taken a heroine that looks like the kind of girl that normally wins romances, has her get rejected in the first chapter as a character-establishing moment, then slaps a "losing heroine" label on her and builds a story around that. And you're supposed to buy it at face value.

This is only marginally worse than that 100 Girlfriends manga: at least that one is trying to fool the reader by ensuring that the usual losers don't while the usual winners continue to.
"And you're supposed to buy it at face value."

Yeah because we all know only men get rejected amiright? (Sarcasm btw)

I'm guessing you have very little life experience. It's completely normal especially for high-school romance. And yeah that is the story. It's centered around characters who have gone through rejection. Like many teens do.

Emotion-driven assumptions have a remarkably high chance of being profoundly wrong, with the ones making them being too blinded by said emotions to notice (or, frequently, care--as the case may be). It's a very common occurrence, actually: there's another person who commented before you who did the same as you have, but not as directly. Thus, I suppose I can't fault you too much for this reply.

Or maybe I can, given what I see. lol That, and the fact that ovine behavior doesn't inherently justify such a response.

Ok as of chapter 14 I confirmed the feeling I had towards the main fmc, I dont like her at all. Around the chapter when the childhood friend confronts the Mc, when she comes out like a bear you understand that she behaved liked this from the very start. She deserved to be dumped, and as of chapter 14 she deserves to be dumped again.

Also the main Mc's character made sense until he started monologueing about how the childhood friend gonna regret dumping her. Brother you are gonna regret your whole life if you ever gonna choose her. For a Manga about losing heroine this is horribly lobed in one side and we know who's gonna"win".

I am 100% if this ends on a platonic relation Everyones going to chew the fmc out and throw her in trash. But that would be not because it ended in a platonic relation but because every guy reading this and fantasising about them getting together didn't fulfill.

#I'll just get this out of the way, FMC is a horrible person.

Now if we just talk about in line of narrative lemon is much more of a romantic partner of Mc. Hell even the zombie Gyaru of student Council fits our Mc more.

Idk why all Japanese author thinks bashing on a male Mc character and desire is somehow entertaining while female characters desire are pure and sacred.

I remember back in the day watching aho girl felt refreshing because I was so used to authors mistreating male Mc's in romcom story. Like there is a difference between character integrity in shows like konosoba and a general romcom aside from the fact that most characters are treated fairly and equally in konosuba.

I had stopped reading romcoms with more that one fmc(except 100gf cause it's goated) for the last five years and in general japanese media content in general(aside from few mysteries and thriller series I already was following) for the last two years. I came from social media and saw a clip of this anime and thought hey why not read this tonight, I have some time. I regret my choice and probably will avoid romcom content again for the next five years.

lol "Fancy words".

If you want an ad hominem argument, I can give you a few with ease, but it's not my style; I don't need to, however, because I was responding to someone who was directing such an argument at me--as I am right now. Acknowledging that, however, wouldn't suit your aims--would it?

Furthermore, actually reading my criticisms with a view to discussion would also help you see the substance therein--but that wouldn't suit your actual purpose either, would it?

By the way, @GhostX64, try saying something meaningful instead of spamming my alerts with negative stickers.
