MangaDex getting DDoSed again?

Everything's been going slower since yesterday but it's extra slow today.

The site has been going slow for me for the past 2-3 days. Even when the site got ddos, it load faster... May be it had something to do with the server? South east asia for me.

Cloudflare still seems to be throttling IPv4 addresses for whatever reason, we're talking with their support team to try and solve the problem

@Plykiya Wouldn't NA be unaffected? I thought we were routed through Path.

@Samhill Path is only responsible for providing caching for our North American image servers, our webserver is still located in Europe

Is it only old chapters that are slow or new ones?

@Plykiya It's avatars and front-page images. The quick settings (the gear in the navbar) sometimes take a few seconds to pop up. AFAIK my image server is set to automatic, but I don't have issues with those. Unless I click "back".

The site keeps making me do Captchas, the cover images won't load when I am at a title's 'chapter' section, and for most series the images won't load at all (seems to only be with recent stuff, I am rereading an old series ATM and it is loading fine).

@Samhill Oh, well images and stuff are loaded through the webserver. Already mentioned that IPv4 addresses would be throttled on the webserver due to Cloudflare issues. The image servers are for chapters, not thumbnails and avatars on the website

@plykiya Yes. Nice picture, I might add. However, since my last comment two hours ago, the problems I had have stopped. I mean, Cloudflare keeps thinking I'm a bot, but the problems with the images are over.

edit: meaning I don't think me being able to access https://cdndex.com/? means anything anymore
