She shows up like once every 100 chapters, usually in the side stories, honestly i will agree she shows up almost never but she does show up, usually on things like picnics and in blink and you'll miss it scenes.
Are there two versions of this? I've been reading what I assumed to be the light novel, but is there a web novel translated out there somewhere? Like I said in my spoiler, if there are two versions though, then I can't comment about that, the manga seems to be following the novel I've been reading, and at the same time

Yuki and Lefi's wedding vows under the moonlight at the kiosk was missing from the novel I read, so it's not a 1:1 adaptation. Maybe that scene was in the novel you read?

Hmmmm let me check my Grand List of People You Should Yell “Don’t Ignore Me!” At, ah yes and here’s the entry marked The Literal Demon King

it’s at the very bottom of the list
He is literally NOT the demon king. That's the other dude he works with usually. He is a DEMON LORD, but the new guy has no way of knowing that, given the way Yuki acts and dresses.

There's the light novel, and then there's the web novel, the web novel is much further ahead than the light novel, i'm speaking of the web novel, if you don't know of them my guess is some of the scenes in the web novel either got condensed or removed in the light novel hence the discrepancy.

The novel I'm following is currently having Yuki making preparations to take his baby boy on a trip to some ruins or something like that. The babies have kind of taken over the focus of the story for the last few dozen chapters, with the boy having some sort of amazing fate prepared for him, and Yuki and wives want the kid to start learning about the world as earliest as possible (even though he is basically a newborn who can't even crawl yet. The novel has a bunch of chapters that seem like bonus content, but they are labeled as actual chapters, and the little princess girl has not appeared in any of them at all, not even the picnic ones. The group of little girls is now going to school, and the only friend from outside the group that keeps showing up is Leyla's little sister. Is the WN farther than this then?

Then if i'm correct it's around 150-200 wn chapters behind though it could be more or less as i've more or less dropped it at it's current point and was considering just switching to the LN, as for the bonus content, i somehow doubt it's as bad as it is in the WN,where every other chapter is a side story it feels like.

One of the biggest problems with the web novel is it sometimes explains too much while explaining nothing, sometimes this works in it's favor (yuki accepting nell as his second wife takes multiple chapters in the wn, while the manga it happens over the course of a chapter and a half and the light novel is probably more similar to the manga in cutting out unneeded stuff) but alot of times it is a overexplaination of something that has literally no point even being mentioned, this is especially the case in the side stories, which i believe is where the king's daughter shows up mostly from this point on., with the last time she showed up being during one of nell's vacations to the dungeon, but it's so minor that i wouldn't be surprised if it was cut out of the light novel as again, a whole lot of nothing happens.

Thanks for the info, I may just skip the WN if that is the case. The LN is already filled with random pointless chapters as it is, so if the WN just adds even more unnecessary chapters that may or may no even be canon, I'll just stick to the LN and this manga (that is SOOOOO FAR BEHIND LOL).

My suggestion is if you enjoy the LN stick to it, web novels are like prototypes for LN's or manga depending on how they are designed, think of them as fan stories that get picked up and made into LN or manga, thus alot of things in a LN might be better handled than a WN since it's something you put more thought into, i'll give you a example, though i will have to spoiler tag a part as it reveals a plot point.

In the web novel for (one of the greatest villainess manga's ever made btw, more shounen comedy than shoujo though):
https://mangadex.org/title/878634d2...atashi-wa-uraboss-desu-ga-maou-de-wa-arimasen
The main character is functionally a god like idiot, to the point you sometimes wonder how she can even remember how to breathe with how dense she is (due to her abilities some of us say she's about as dense as a black hole), however in the manga and anime (and probably LN) she's a bit of a fool but not so dense as to be functionally ret****d (wish i didn't have to sensor that), however the biggest change as a example is the character of alicia and her orbiters, in the web novel they are generally a***oles to eumellia (mc) and completely unlikable, in the LN, likely manga and anime her and her helpers are far less scummy and in fact their apprehension at the mc at first is somewhat understandable, contrasting wildly with the web novel.

The biggest contrast of alicia and her orbiters however hasn't happened in the manga yet, so i'll spoiler tag it.
In the anime, LN and probably the manga, alicia get's brainwashed/ mind controlled into stabbing eumellia in the back (literally) during their fight with the demon lord and eumellia has to knock them out and more or less spirit them away to save them, contrast that with the web novel where she does it willingly, gloats about it with 2 of her orbiters and get's slaughtered by the demon lord, in the anime and LN, eumellia finishes off the demon lord (he's insanely strong, but eumellia is the superboss and true final boss, think sephiroth vs emerald weapon from final fantasy 7 if you've played that), and they all go back home.

So my point is with this long post, web novels are the original, rough draft's usually, LN and manga are the finished product, most of the time the LN will have changes to improve the story, while not always true this is usually the case, mangas on the other hand are a mixed bag as sometimes they are a reinterpretation of them.

I read that novel, and yeah, I also hated how much was changed in the anime and manga adaptation of that story. It's even worse since some of the later chapters REQUIRE the heroine and the other characters to stay dead...guess we can't have those arcs adapted anymore. Another problem with that story was its length. At some point the author decided to make Eumillia just plain stupid and lacking ANY semblance of common sense, just to cause misunderstandings that felt forced, just to keep the story going on and on. It's also funny that later on, the author decided that killing characters off was probably a bad idea, since we never get to see any major character die ever again, not even some of the ones that deserved to die.

My thoughts on the anime to other source materials
Given the multiverse existing in this series and the ancient evil god trying to destroy everything, I have the idea Alicia isn't being controlled by fate but the god is trying to force Yumiellia to go Omnicidal Maniac by making Alicia overtly harmful. This failed, so in another version of events, is more subtle and results in the Light Novel version where Alicia tries to kill Yumellia on her own volition. This failed as Yumiella didn't succumb to darkness. So, a third attempt was made, which succeeded in making Yumellia 2, who the Light Novel version saves and redeems.

Ahhh, the wonders and conveniences of having a "multiverse" within your story. It's true, it can ALL be canon, lol.

Honestly, by the time they got to Emilia2, I was already tired of the story. Like I said, it's like the Bakarina or the Perfect Saintess stories, they should've ended with one arc. Too much of a thing can ruin the experience, and I feel these three stories, Hamefura, The Too-Perfect Saint, and Level 99 Villainess, were just fine as standalone, one season (one arc) stories. No need for after stories, sequels, or weird multiverse shenanigans.
