This is dumb. why didn't he just charge at her after she shot his ear? It takes several seconds to re-draw a crossbow. Does the author think that crossbows are like pistols?
At first I thought it as because the crossbow bolts were poisoned and he was already becoming paralysed , but now he's still able to move fine. Come on auhtor

Dude is leaping toward her, with a weapon, gets shot in the ear, mid air. Ok. The bolt should have gone through his ear, he should have landed where he intended, end of story.

Instead somehow the arrow gets impaled in the tree behind him whilst still being in his ear. Must be a magic arrow that can pull people toward trees.

Also Maria pulled her sim card and only reinstalled it long enough for her to look at two messages immediately before she was dropped into the well. So even if the tracker was there it wouldn't have helped.

Porque sin el chip instalado no se puede rastrear, aunque en el caso de Shikimi solo estuvo instalado por un tiempo y Okaya no lo sabía.

For once we are seeing the nerf of a villain instead. He was acting like a 40yo war veteran until now (still do tbh since he doesn't even phase with all the arrow hits). Also how is the GPS tracking gonna help? Dude is naked. They will probably find his body at the gps location. Or just the phone and a massage.
