If he doesn't know, he ensures to rely on someone more knowledgeable to tell him where the cutting needs to be done.

The title seems nice as of now, but there is one aspect of almost all the hero-party-banishment mangas that is unbearable to me — the shitty hero somehow ALWAYS manages to escape all the responsibility for their actions and acts as a permanent antagonist. I really hope it won't be the case with this one.

Surely Alan will be severely punished for this right. I see no way of this not becoming a national incident if he doesn't at worst get executed or at best stripped of his hero title. Even though mc has arrived to immediately fix the screwup, the fact remains that Alans actions would've doomed the elves to ruin.

The characters of this manga have been unexpected sensible for the genre since the other party members actually left instead of staying in the sinking ship (even though they've seemingly been completely forgotten by the author for the moment). I can't imagine the king allowing Alan the chance to continue making generational fuckups like this. Realistically he'd have to be executed or imprisoned for life, but since he is more interesting than the typical shitty hero, I'll settle for him being removed from hero hood and preferably saddled with a debt he'll never be able to pay. Anything less than that might ruin this story.
