I've been thinking, but it's weird the butler doesn't go to the archduke for a solution and just keeps on apologizing, but once a solution is presented, he just runs off to get permission/inform, when a lot of trouble could have been saved by going to the archduke in the first place.
Yes ditch that two timing bitch. ( I know that it’s normal to have more than one wife in that world but it pisses me off which is a main reason I can’t stand (some) harems)
Thanks for the chapter!
LN explains more but Camilla did know about the one child restriction (at a previous party things got messy and awkward because too many kids, not enough parents, and a big cryfest occurred and spread,) so insisted on bringing Glint along and arranging things so Ain would be excluded partially to bully him and Olivia (who'd never enter without him,) and partially to lower Ain's rep while raising Glint's in the eyes of the other nobles. Also, the distance traveled is about 3-5 hours one way. The idiot father can't be bothered to reprimand her and shrugs off the insult figuring can appease Olivia and Ain by giving him some candy later. Although leaving the two of them there without a word is beyond the pale and rude.
Ojousama is the Japanese way of saying a wealthy highclass lady or princess (even if not part of royal family.) Wonder why Claune so surprised when thought Ain called her beautiful, after all not in teens yet and would've heard that complement from numerous nobles and their kids. Although likely because his was from the heart while the others were mostly courting favor and insincere flattery.
Will find out later but what he did was propose to both Claune and Olivia. XD That's why Claune wanted him to call her name without honorifics. Be interesting to see whether her parents are more surprised by her being engaged or receiving a rare star jewel.
This is going to get the family in big trouble later as Olivia is part of the upper nobility in another country and as part of a deal Ain was suppose to be next head of the family. Considering daddy dearest hasn't been doing anything about Olivia's bullying and plans for Glint it's a wonder why the King didn't step in sooner to prevent the upcoming political fiasco. After all, deal very important to kingdom and Olivia very beloved in her home country.
@eypicasso Lethally poisonous flowers are in the garden because they're beautiful, rare, and if the poison can be extracted properly it turns into a very unique gem. However, the cost to remove the poison is very expensive, takes around a year give or take month, and the process has a good chance of failing at some point. Also, the stuff they put around the flowers to protect both them and viewers has been removed and everyone is warned about the flowers and escorted if they want to enter the garden.
Haha, dumped that trash father like a sack of dog poop. Also, props to the mc for being corny in the moment, chicks dig that. Too bad his mom-con side kinda killed the atmosphere...
