The problem with introducing multiple love rivals for the obvious winning heroine is that sometimes one of them is so heroic, sincere, affectionate, and beautiful that the audience falls in love with her hard and you can no longer have her in the picture if you want to tell the exact story you intended. So Tenka's probably gonna fucking die to motivate Yuuki. The fallout for the readership is gonna be funny. Let's see what shape the manga is in in the aftermath.
Oh definitely people are gonna drop the manga and shit on it, if Tenka dies, a sacrifice like that in a manga this horny?

Is it so difficult to have Tenka & Yuuki sexy time? Hell I would've waited for the extra chapter in the volume release for the details if the author decided to off screen the event. Anyways can't wait to see the Onmyou agency to be exposed. Thanks for the translations.
Not sure she had the time for the bj before getting interrupted, but it will be interesting now that the agency's dark secret is now out.

Plot time boys! REAL plot time! We missed out on a bit of "plot" in the beginning but I'd say this makes up for it. Let's see what HAPPENS!

Thanks for the new chapter!

Deym, Tenka did not get a bite
But indeed, turbulent first day this is. I wouldn't be surprised if the onmyou specialist a thunder-god in disguise.

The 4th chief doesn’t exist due to the fact that four in Japanese is similar to the word death and therefore is bad luck
Ah I was wondering why there's no 4th chief.

Counter arguments
I'll admit that my arguments are extremely on the optimistic side but I'd like to think that it is probable, and with the revealing the onmyou agency's shady dealings would help tip the scales in Kyouka's favor. Although it's not exactly clear what the onmyou agency's relationship Ren.

So the alternate plan could be to force Ren to throw the onmyou agency under the bus or risk potentially losing the election.

Truth be told, I think Kyouka and Tenka's plan of revealing things now IS their best bet, but... my worry is how much all of them really value the difference between moral and absolute strength.
I agree this plan is their best bet and potentially the best time to expose the onmyou agency.

After thinking about this a bit more, this move may not decisively win the election for Kyouka. But it does put the onmyou agency in a bad spot.

(If you allow me to move the goal post) if the main goal isn't to win the election but instead push the MDF against onmyou agency, then this is the best time. Most of the Chiefs are warm to Kyouka and if the evidence against the onmyou agency is damning enough are very likely to be swayed against the agency, thus may push Ren and the MDF to cut ties or event go against the Onmyou agency.

How successfull this move is depends on how much the onmyou agency contribute to the MDF, which I think is never revealed, and how much the chiefs value morals over power.

I can make a case that most of the chiefs value morals over power.

Starting with Mira who is most likely to be swayed by this, she has a strong sense of morality and is probably not going to put her head down if the onmyou agency's misdeeds are bad enough.

Fubuki may value strength as an Azuma. But she knows full well that blind adherence to strength would only put the MDF in to decline like how the Azumas did with Tobera. She may not has the same sense of morality as Mira, but if the agency's misdeeds are worse than their contribution, then she may be swayed as well.

Although Yakumo is in it for the moneys and badokadonks, she may be appalled by the onmyou agency's treatment of (cute) girls. Though otherwise she may not care either.

Konomi may not want to rock the boat due to her age. But she comes acorss as the type to not sit down when there's injustice happening right under her nose. There's a good chance she's gonna be against the onmyou agency if the dirt on them is bad enough.

Varvara created a cult religion praising Kyouka, as far as she's concerned morality is where Kyouka is.

Bell is Ren's dog and is probably going to follow wherever she goes. However she has experience a large amount of character development, so it's not outside the realm of possibility that she grows a spine and sides with Kyouka.

It's not clear what the relationship between the onmyou agency and Ren or the MDF. If enough chiefs are swayed by the allegations against the Onmyou agency, she may be forced to cut ties with the agency to not run the risk of losing the election.

So yea I think there's a good chance the MDF is swayed to Kyouka's side as long as the evidence against the Onmyou agency is irrefutable and damning.

I’m very much in line for them not having the “courage” to kill anyone. As I’m sure most coming from Akame ga Kill will agree…
Oh, believe me I do know Akame Ga Kill and I do know it's the same author.
It's just that the vibes between stories are way different. Akame Ga Kill was straight up forward from the get go that people are going to die and that being an assassin means that YOU will die an horrible death because you deserve it.
This story is way more relaxed. I could be wrong tho, the author could pull the rug from underneath me, I just think that is improbable.

I can't say I don't appreciate things being shifted back to plot progression, but I also can't say I'm the happiest about how it happened. Curse you, y'blue-balling degenerate! Tenka and Kyouka make the best team for flipping Ren off, though!
Thanks for the translations, as always!

Anyone imagining he'd lose his virginity to anyone but Kyouka is in serious denial about who the main female love interest is.
The main love interest is Tenka... Look at the story, Tenka is literaly the only one that act as a girlfriend. Kyouka is just the woman MC admire. Sure he is attracter to her, but there's a massive difference between his interaction to Kyouka and Tenka.

It's clear that tenka is in love with him, she know she love him, and she show that she love him.
On the other hand Kyouka is still refusing that she want to fuck MC.

Still, Fubuki best girl.

That is a really good possibility.

Kyouka obviously will still try to be commander, but she is a good person who would put such ambition to the side and focus on whatever victory is most at hand.

And your read on the other chiefs is pretty spot-on.

I do think I am reading too much on this, this series is horni bait at its core... but I blame the author for making the story and characters so damn fun and likable that makes me think too much.
