So the answer was "cryptid transmigrated". Got it.
I wasn't looking for how or why, just what she is/was. Did I just miss the part where she said mythical beings exist on Earth? That would have cleared this up if I did.

@FullDiver we don't, there are many things we don't know yet. Though Tolkien being known by Lefay makes it seem like she's familiar with our earth at least.

Manga gets more interesting going forward so keep on reading it : )

All these comments talkin' about the other isekaid humans completely neglecting to mention Xu Fu and his 3000 young men and women, with whom he created a nation that still thrives.

Y'know, the legitimate actual sorcerer Xu Fu.

I guess in his time the extant religions with emphasis on messianic figures would be Zoroastrianism and Judaism? But the author could always just say he follows a philosopher or prophet who only had followers in their own time.

Probably a Zoroastrian since he keeps talking about demons though.

The thing about Lefay is that she's the only inconsistent person here. She's from ancient Briton, also a fairy and yet, she also knows who the Japanese are. We have no idea how old she is or if she was even from MC's Earth.

She might as well be a demigod for all we know.

Get that poor boy far away from Le Fay before she does something he'll regret.

But seriously, I'm gonna miss the regular uploads of this manga when we catch up. It's a lot of fun.

@greatninja3 I was questioning the accuracy of the translation. I won't know unless I read the raws myself (and could somehow understand Japanese), but he seems incredibly Christian, enough so that I think "long before" could maybe have been a mistranslation of "not long after." And I don't think any Greek philosopher ever became a philosophical/religious savior type figure. A lot of sages, wise men, and teachers, but no saviors to my knowledge.

@pburgund That's a good point. I'd forgotten about Zoroastrianism, although I don't remember if Zoroastrians have such a philosophy concerning the rejection of pleasure, or if they had a savior figure.

In any case, yeah he's BC. I took a look at the raws, and in all the places translated as "savior," Atom's actually saying things like Epi-sama, or Epi-sensei. Definitely Epicurean philosophy then, though more radical than I thought it'd be. Creative license, I guess.
@greatninja3, the translation was, in fact, a little off, just not where I thought it was.

@Say, I don't know if it's my place to suggest corrections to your release, but I just thought I'd share my findings.
