Soooo he just admitted that when he got the Krishna in-game it's stats were so high for it's ship class he thought it was a bug. Taking the reactor out of a cruiser and sticking it in a corvette is kinda insane. For you Stellaris players imagine that a corvette had a cruiser's power capacity. That is what the Krishna is.

Oh, now we get to see how he does piloting a merely top-of-the-line starship instead of a canonically OP one.
Not exactly top-of-the-line starship. If i remember it correctly, that one is a prototype created after the dwarf got inspiration from Krishna. So they want to know how the pilot of the original ship consider their creation based on it

They all wear that form-fitting spacesuit, not just the girls. That alone scores a 10 to me.
I love anime space suits. I love them more on girls, though.

The best part is they're actually fairly grounded sci-fi. Skintight compression suits have been a subject of interest for as long as manned spaceflight, because they avoid the mobility restrictions caused by inflating the suit like a balloon.

Is this chapter, bad ?
Dialogue is repeated a few times (particularly around the conversation for the remodeling, its wierd to read).
Why Hiro says that he want to hide things from the Dwergr Corp, when then just shrug because the Corp have heard rumors about Hiro.
Wierd.

Anyways thanks for your work on this chapter nonetheless.

I'm reasonably sure the primary setting influence is Elite: Dangerous(though it's certainly not the only one). Krishna's got a Fer-De-Lance in her family tree, mark my words.

Stated by the author, though Stellaris is obviously also playing a role. As of the current material in the webnovel, I'm also wondering if Sword of the Stars is making an appearance too.

It is the FDL.
Great handling, got the best shield cap to ship mass ratio(not counting shield boosters) out of the medium sized combat ships.
4 medium + 1 huge hardpoints.
Tho the matter with the OP stock powerplant and some design changes are the only key difference.

Kind of wish the mangaka could better distinguish one of the dwarves from Elma better.
Well, in the Light Novel, the only differentiating point relating to the Dwarf Twins to Elma is their height and Elma having more sharper features, while the Dwarf Twins being early teenager in height.

He got a full remodelling fee for his ship for free in exchange for being a test pilot for a day. Honestly even if they take advantage of his skill, he's getting a sweet deal out of it anyway.
That's the part which is slightly different from the Light Novel.

In it, the remodeling cost was bared by Hiro, which he paid from his own pocket.

But because they were going down in balance, they decided to later take on the test-pilot job when offered.

Aka., the 1.5 Million ener remodeling cost isn't actually accurate. The remodeling cost is much lower, but they get paid higher for the job.
