Yea... even warships in the 18th century weren't that big.
There is no equivalent as a way of disguise.

Also I think it's normal for some ferries to be that big, you can see the vehicle loading ramp on the side. The ones most people might see in person are smaller and travel short distances like a river or channel. The large ones can go longer distances across deeper waters and even oceans

Well, i mean the average cruise ship is 600 feet longer than the largest farry (404ft) , and the largest cruise ship is another 188 feet ( 1188ft) so i can see it
