So like, cat café manager is not a very common profession. Even in a city as large as Tokyo, there has to be a very limited set of people with the title "cat café manager". Among those people, the set that are women in like their 20-30s is gonna be even smaller. It's not a perfect guarantee that it's the same person, but since Tamaki knows her owner is a cat café manager, you'd think she would at least consider the possibility that they're the same person even before she came home, and when she unexpectedly brings a guy (which since it was formerly established that she avoids talking to male customer is probably highly unusual), it's pretty much a done deal, even if she didn't remember his name.
