4 months is fine, I’ve been waiting for “We are not dating” for more than a year now.

I don't really look into statistics for any kind of manga, manhwa or webtoon I am reading.
So I hope this series is popular enough for it to not die after this hiatus, it is almost half a year long after all.
Other than that, I hope you guys continue translating it whenever it comes back, and if you guys don't want to or are unable to, I hope someone else picks it up.
Lots of "hope" involved, but it is what it is.

No, I have never seen a manga come from hiatus on schedule. I give it 50/50 odds that it will end up dropped (because going on hiatus loses readers, so unless you are insanely popular, it's a kiss of death). If it does come back, it's going to be closer to a year.

I'm actually glad to see this going on hiatus to figure out the plot, because each chapter is just making the story more of a mess without really resolving anything... maybe the author will straighten that out a bit before coming back from hiatus.

Not gonna lie I also really do not understand what’s going on with the plot. Too much mystery!

The list of misery Mia has experienced:

• Being an adoptive daughter
• Her dad losing his business and their family becoming really poor
• Being relentlessly bullied in middle school for being poor
• Mom getting terminally sick
• While being the MC's girlfriend, getting hired by his mom to monitor him and be "runining his life" so she can afford her mom's hospital bills
• Mom dying anyway
• Dad dragging her away from the town and from the MC
• Cutting all contact with the MC she truly loved because she believed her influence and even existence would be detrimental to him
• Dad leaving her and Mia having to scrape by by herself while still a teenager who didn't get to finsh high school
• Having the one job she's had pulled under her, getting late on her rent payments and being creeped on by the landlord
• Becoming essentially homeless, continuing being creeped on by strangers as she's trying to get by and keep repaying loan sharks what was owed them for her late mom's hospital bills
• Being denied employment because she looks like a desperate and problematic drifter
• Hitting a breaking point after her hard-earned coffee can got spoiled by a cigarette butt dunked into it, right after a call where she's discovered that her beloved one already found somebody else
• Getting a brain tumor? - no explicit confirmation yet, but she's been getting dizzy and forgetful even before she fell
• Falling off a building while doing an odd construction job, hitting her head, going into coma for 6 months and getting a brain trauma which causes partial amnesia
• Finally reuniting with the MC, who, while single, is in love with another one, meanwhile his relationship with Mia is super rocky

That's basically the plot, anyone feel free to correct me on any of that

It's a bit much tbh. I stopped feeling anything because of how convoluted it is. I think Mia was fine with one or two of these problems. Like this, she's a giant fucking mess of a character.
