On page 29, the artist made the doggie's head look like a kitty's. Wonder why.

I would have been eaten by the doggie, I would not have resisted trying to pet him, no matter how many legs he had. Are ghost dogs soft? I must know.

Hmm, either she saw the wrong spirit
Or....... This is tied to the fact she perceive the spirit thats been haunting Romm as a "mere old man"
The possibility that she's been perceiving some spirits wrongly is kinda spooky

Oooh I love the more ambiguous spirits in this series, they're the most fascinating.
Also, it's been 63 chapters - anybody know if this is somebody we already knew, or a new character altogether?

That's supposed to be one method of creating an Inugami in order to deliver vengence for some slight. The point being to put food in front of it and tell it that it's suffering is nothing compared to the owner's, so it should help him get revenge. Yeah, and they say contemporary people are self absorbed, right?
yup that's the one. human has always been self absorbed, seems to happen when animals gain certain level of intelligence

Finally, Mitsue is back!
...
Soo, can we now finally start some form of supernatural training for Miko and Julia? Let's see, there's a very serious threat around in the form of "the sickle guy" that's likely responsible for almost killing Romm and is stalking Miko, then there's the weird thing that tried to enter Miko's house posing as Michiru's sister, and finally there's the old guy and his "men in black" lackeys whose intentions are still a mystery.
Shit is getting serious and Miko is still almost clueless about the ghosts and their intentions
The training would probably be sprint, though? As in there isn't much they could learn, that isn't just spending time making knick-knacks that may or may not work.

"sniping" as a concept is truly is the dumbest shit i've seen coming from translators.
It only makes sense on smaller sites/groups where scanlation groups have high possibility of regularly talking with each other, so as to not duplicate work. Watching for "Sniping" on aggregation sites, or sites which are used by a few thousand or more scanlation individuals and groups are not only dumb, but straight up unfeasible.
It's already lucky if a scanlator reads or even is there to read comment on the work, which is very far from cooperating in sync with complete strangers.

Eh...

That's it, that's the entire "complaint" about wokeness.
Frankly, Emile was kind of an ass in general in how they addressed people's complaints. The usual stuff: "don't read it if you don't like it", "if you don't like it do it yourself" and so on.

So focusing on them saying "besides, at least I don't change things around to push some agenda" of all things, as if that's somehow their biggest fault here? That's just plain silly.
Eh, I mean the only people who complain about “localizers pushing agendas” are those who complain about woke stuff. That’s not an unfounded extrapolation imo. Other normal people simply understand that translation is not a one-to-one word-per-word exchange.

Haven't really claimed it to be an unfounded extrapolation. Just, not particularly relevant (in this instance at least) to judging their character when quite frankly there were some other rather major issues to take from their post.
Had they gone on a huge rant about wokeness, sure, but it's silly that that's the takeaway some people got from it all.

On a separate note, a handful of localizers occasionally twisting and nudging translations to fit their views, tastes or in-group jokes without there being an actual reason to isn't really a "not one-to-one" issue. If anything, it'd fall closer to the side of switching onigiri with jelly donuts and what-not.
Not that I believe it to be particularly common in any measure: it is just the anti-wokes being excessively annoying and vocal about it after all (while of course ignoring any non-"woke" instances of this), as any politically active community is sadly wont to do.
