... Is what I would say if this series hasn't gone on for 6 years. The story hasn't moved at all since 3 years ago and I'm not even exaggerating.

i'm curious what you consider "moving"?

I like how ambiguous this manga makes things when it comes to "was that a good ghost? or a bad one?"
There's no correlation between how terrifying something looks, and how dangerous to humans it is. Ghosts operate on a different plane of existence, you can't judge them by appearance.

Or, even, by their actions! We've seen several times when a "helpful" ghost was actually really bad, or when a seemingly harmful ghost was only going after other evil spirits.

Seems like the local enshrined spirit is transforming to reflect the sudden influence of Labda in the area and Hana's offering. Os it's last line of "power" an achknowledgement that it can get strong again or is it now craving more(speciffically for Mieruko and co.)?

My interpretation is that it was just a local "god" that can feeds on other spirits. It's already estabilished that there are "things" out there that kill and eat other "things".
Like always, the behavior is always consistent, you can now understand that when Miko saw it earlier by the candy shop it was not interested on Miko, it was already eyeing that thing on the girl's feet.

Look past their appearance and it's just a local, minor god protecting people in their turf. Last pages is them enjoying the offering and the festival.

It's not that complicated.

Once again I get the feeling that Miko's "spirit-vision" is very deceptive and confuses "alien" with "evil/hostile". Which admittedly must be very frustrating. If only she had some kind of defense against the ghosts so she wouldn't be taking huge risks trying to interact with them.

I would consider Mieruko making conscious steps to ultimately resolve her ability to see, and the fear that comes with it as "moving" the story. That hasn't happened once ever since the end of the whole cursed-mountain-shrine arc.
I made paragraphs about how Mieruko's taking the passenger seat in her own story to reply to you but I deleted it. I reckon you wouldn't be interested, especially if you're just trying to dunk on me for brownie points. Point is I think Mieruko's like a react streamer reacting to her own wacky wahoo life instead of taking the initiative to do something about it.

Expecting a Power Up Fantasy from a Slice of Horror manga?

Like this guy for example. He wouldn't be interested in a genuine discussion, he's just here for brownie points. Came in replying with his pants so far up his asscrack assuming I want a shonen-esque story, meanwhile what I wanted was basically the protag making effort to resolve her conflict. The mystery is part of the charm of this series, so revealing and explaining stuff would just damage it. But that doesn't mean the protag should be a react character.

I assume the local god / spirit tried to exorcise the ghost hunting Aya earlier but it was too weak until Julia weakened it.

Then when Hana did a prayer and offering at it's shrine it got a pretty huge influx of power due to Hana's power and then took the form of the Lambda rabbit due to it being an icon and having a festival probably giving the icon and offering even more power. I wonder if the local god / spirit, now Lambda god / spirit, transformed willingly to mooch of the festival or if the offering / festival forcefully transformed the local god / spirit due to being weak and it exclaiming ''POWER'' was simply it reacting to the influx of power.

It was friendly, probably anyway, and hopefully it stays friendly now when it is transformed.

As creepy as that fucking ghost was, I actually think its a “good“ one like the Axe one on the train, killing all the bad ghosts.

So the lambda is a good ghost?

Assuming this is being one-hundred percent accurate to how spirits are supposed to be like in Japanese lore, then the ghost just are. They exist/function on a different spectrum entirely. An example is the axe man on the train. He seems extremely violent, but he also takes ghosts that come on the train that seem to haunt people... but we also don't know the context of it. Does he do it because of moral reasons as the other ghosts are bad, or is it because he is, in a sense, reaffirming a territory or hunting ground, and none of the ghosts he takes fit into a single evil category?
They all seem to be focused on eating other ghosts, possibly to increase their own power, or maybe there is a different reason for it. Who knows. Either way, we just don't have enough context and probably never will.
